Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to talk about some new jeans that iPhone owners are going to love. These jeans come equipped with super cool technology that allows you to charge your phone with special cords connected to the jeans. Since our phones are basically the center of our worlds (I mean how else would we watch YouTube or Netflix, or go on social media…wow makes you wonder what people did before smart phones? Scary isn’t it?). So now let’s talk a little bit about the technology that is about to change our lives (but remember to read any and all safety instructions included with these jeans so you can stay safe). Ready? Ok, lets go!!!
A company called Joe’s Jeans have developed jeans called the #Hello jeans, that have “a patent pending pocket that perfectly holds your iPhone so you can charge your phone on-the-go,”. So basically this means that there is a small (but deep) pocket that perfectly holds the iPhone 5, 5s, 5c, and 6, and charges them through a small cord found on the waistband of the jeans, and a batter back that you can detach when you need to wash the jeans. The pocket should (hopefully) mean that you won’t have to worry about your phone falling out as you walk – however, should this happen and your screen smashes, then a service like this iphone lcd buyback could help to get you some money towards a replacement screen so that you can use your phone properly once again. The battery can charge an iPhone 5/5s/5c up to 80-85% and an iPhone 6 up to 70%, but the jeans are $189 plus $49 extra for the battery. Even thought this is pricey, you do get the convenience of never missing the perfect selfie opportunity so I guess we better add these jeans to our Christmas lists. These jeans definitely make you wonder what technology will bring us next. Check out the video below to see how the jeans work.
Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ blog we are featuring Beauty Guru/Singer Natasha Bure. This young rising YouTube star has only been on YouTube for a short time, but has already proven that she is very knowledgeable about beauty, fashion, and how to capture the undivided attention of an audience. At the young age of 16, Natasha has shown through her videos that she is an intelligent, charismatic young entertainer who will very soon take the internet by storm. It’s easy to see where Natasha’s talent as an entertainer comes from, if you consider the fact that her mother is actress Candace Cameron Bure (who most know as DJ Tanner from the highly popular sitcom Full House). Trust me, once you see one of Natasha’s videos, you will instantly become a fan and will also want to see this young talent blossom into the next YouTube queen.
Natasha uploaded her first YouTube video on August 11th, 2014 Natasha Bure Official Youtube + All About It). This video was an introductory video that tells viewers what to except on the channel in the future. I decided to mention this video not only because it is the first one on the channel, but also because even in a video with such sole content, Natasha is able to show that she is funny, relatable, comfortable on camera, and most importantly, very fun to watch. The next video that we are going to discuss is Natasha’s ‘August Favorites’ video which she uploaded on August 21st, 2014 (August Favorites ). This video covered Natasha’s favorite beauty/skin products, movies, and miscellaneous products of the month. I really loved all of the products that Natasha mentions in her video, and I also loved the mixed between high end and inexpensive items that she had in the video, I definitely think that this makes the video appeal to a wider range of audience. In this video, Natasha also allows her bubbly personality to shine, and certainly will make everyone wish they could be her BFF (also, the mean girls reference was great…Glenn Coco would be so proud). The final video that we are going to discuss in this blog post, is Natasha’s ‘Back To School Style + What’s In My Backpack’ video which was uploaded on August 29th, 2014 (Back To School Style + What’s In My Backpack). I really thought that this video was perfect to showcase because back to school time is now upon us. I absolutely LOVED the outfits that Natasha showcased because they’re cute, stylish, perfect for a wide range of styles, and school/parent approved (got to keep those ATMs…I mean parents happy…just kidding, we love them). I also really loved how Natasha was able to show how back to school style can also extend to school supplies. She was able to show pieces that were both efficient and cute. You gotta love a girl who’s so stylish that she makes you want to even copy her school supplies style (and trust me you will want to).
Didn’t I say see was amazing? As I’m sure you can already tell, Natasha is on her way to become a top YouTuber. I think that what really sets Natasha apart from all of the other beauty/fashion gurus on YouTube, is the fact that she is not only knowledgeable about both topics, but she also has an incredible level of comfort in front of the camera. She also has the ability to quickly gain an audience, in fact in only a month on YouTube (as of September 10th, 2014); she already has 2,436 subscribers and 23,957 total channel views. I was awestruck when I found out about these numbers. I mean, some businesses find it hard to gain YouTube subscribers and comments and might have made use of some of the best sites to buy YouTube comments and views to promote their YouTube page. I don’t think Natasha has had any such service to help her. She also has over 72,000 followers on Instagram (which achieved in about 7 or 8 months), and 1,960 Twitter followers (which she accumulated in about 1 month). I find this truly amazing, especially seeing as some people can find it so hard to even reach this number in their lifetimes. If I’m honest, I thought the only way you could increase your Instagram followers was through a service similar to what Nitreo, (https://nitreo.com) can offer. Or so this is what my friend tells me. I’ve never tried it. This achievement just goes to show that you can reach thousands of followers on your own, but there is no harm in getting additional help along the way. So as you can see, Natasha is quickly becoming the internet’s biggest not so secret talent. I am very excited to see where Natasha goes from here. It will be fun to see just how high this young star rises.
Keep in touch with Natasha!

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to discuss BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFITS (yes I know that for some of you, THIS is the only good thing about going back to school)!!! Now as always, I am going to show y’all 3 different looks that should cover a wide range of styles. I am also going to try to edit the looks to comply with most school dress codes, but if your school’s dress codes are more/less strict then you can alter the looks accordingly. Also, remember that fashion is suppose to be fun, so don’t be afraid to combine pieces from each of the look to achieve something that reflects your personality. I didn’t add any accessories or makeup/hairstyle looks for these outfits, but you can add your own style with each of these, In order to make the look feel more you. Ok, now let’s get into the blog!!!
Girly Look:
Crochet High-Neck Chiffon Top from Wet Seal:
I really like this top because it’s loose and lightweight, so if the weather is still warm or hot where you live, then this top won’t make you sweat off all your makeup. I also liked the lace high neck on it, because it’s very feminine and cute, but is not revealing (the LAST thing you need is to start off the school year grounded or suspended…you’re welcome!).
Textured Faux Leather Jacket from Forever 21:
I chose this jacket because it’s cute and adds just a touch of edge to this very girly look. I know that a lot of school dress codes don’t allow students to wear tops without sleeves, so you can either add or remove the jacket depending on your school’s dress codes.
Faux Suede Oxfords from Forever 21:
I really loved these shoes for school because their cute, a little preppy, and most importantly COMFOTABLE! Seriously we all know that you often have to sacrifice comfort for style, so this is a fun alternative to heels, wedges, and flats.
Pink High-Waisted Jeggings from The Bethany Mota Collection exclusively at Aéropostale:
Of course we have to have a piece from one of our favorite internet fashion gurus, Bethany Mota! I really love Bethany’s clothing line, because she has a lot of fun pieces that can become staple pieces in your wardrobe. I thought that these jeggings added a cool pop of color to the outfit that will make you feel like it’s still summer, even when you’re trapped in a classroom or lecture hall.
Floral and Faux Leather Backpack from Icing
I really loved this backpack because it’s cute, and is perfect for any season. The faux leather also gives your outfit a “grown up” feel, so you don’t look overly girly or young with a completely floral backpack.
Quirky/Edgy Look:
Sweetheart Tube Skater Dress from Wet Seal
I really love this dress because it loose and flowy, which is perfect if it’s still hot where you live. It is also a perfect blend of girly and casual, so it’s perfect to dress up or down.
Plaid Shirt from Forever 21
Now for this look I really wanted to embrace the plaid trend that everyone loves by pairing a plaid shirt over this dress, to give it a very casual vibe. Also, since the dress might not be in accordance to dress code, the plaid shirt covers it up, and makes it dress code perfect.
Marvel Comics Combat Boots from Wet Seal
I completely fell in love with these boots when I saw them, because who doesn’t love the Marvel superheroes. These felt like the perfect touch to make this look a little more quirky and unique (you can also wear black combat boots if you want a more rocker vibe to your outfit).
Mustache with Glasses Backpack from Amazon
Lastly, I really liked this backpack because it’s fun and will definitely make any outfit you pair it with have a very unique feel. What I really love most about this backpack though is that it is so cute and unique that you could even wear it with an outfit outside of the classroom (and c’mon, how cool is that!?!).
Casual Look:
Little Mermaid Tank Top from Wet Seal
I just had to include this tank top because it’s the cutest thing ever! I mean who doesn’t love the little mermaid? Anyway, I loved that this top is really colorful and comfortable for those days when you roll out of bed and don’t feel like thinking about your outfit (which if you’re like me, is everyday).
Floral Kimono from Wet Seal
Personally I really love Kimonos because they’re fun, comfortable, trendy, comfortable, have the ability to make any top school appropriate, and oh yeah, comfortable (I know I’ve said that a lot but comfort is a big thing for me).
Straight Regular Blue Jeans from H&M
Now if you’re looking for comfort, what’s better than a classic pair of jeans. This piece is classic, comfortable, and makes any outfit look more put together, os you really don’t have to worry about styling it.
All Black Converse Sneakers from Journey’s
Now here is a piece that takes the classic look and comfort of a sneaker, but makes it a little cooler. I personally love converse sneakers because they are comfortable and add a laid back, classic look to your outfit. I think that wearing sneakers are a great way to go on the first day of school, because you might do a lot of walking to find your classes, and it’s just easier on your feet, and one less thing you have to stress over.
White Polka Dot Jansport Backpack from Target
I love this backpack because it’s fun but not over the top (just in case that’s not your thing). Also, the fact that it’s white allows it to easily match just about any outfit, or if you’re a little more creative, you can customize it with stickers, draw on it, anything you want really (you gotta love a backpack that gives you options).
