If you love YouTubers that are entertaining, and have cool and interesting videos then you gotta check out FearlesslyJulia’s channel. If you watch enough hours of YouTube then you know that there are many amazing beauty/fashion gurus on YouTube, that it can be hard to decide which channels to watch (I mean we do have to divide our time between Netflix binges and sleeping, so we have to use our time wisely). If you want to discover a new channel that you will replay over and over then please keep reading. Ready? Ok, let’s go!!!

The first video that we’re going to talk about is Julia’s ‘Decorating my Room for Christmas! + DIY Decorative Pillows ūü饒 video, which was uploaded on November 13th, 2014. Now I know that Christmas has already passed but it’s never too late to get ready for next year. Right? Right! If you want to learn how to turn your room into a winter wonderland, and create very cute pillows that you will want to use all year, then you gotta check out this video. Next up we have Julia’s ‘Easter Hair, Makeup, & Outfit Ideas 2015!’ video which was uploaded on March 28th, 2015 (you can check out this video below). If you want to look super cute this Easter then you have to watch this video.¬†Julia gives her audience amazing and detailed tips & tricks that¬†you can use to not only be¬†Insstagram ready for Easter, but all spring long.

Now we’re going discuss Julia’s ‘Fall Clothing Haul 2015! Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, Brandy Melville & more!’, which was uploaded on August 29th, 2015 (you can check out the video below). Now y’all know that there had to be a haul in this post because haul’s are amazing. Now that Christmas has come and past, we either have no money left, or we have money and gift cards from Santa. The great thing about hauls is that we can check out what other people buy, and know where all the cute stuff is. Also, it’s never to early to start your Christmas list for next year…just saying. The final video that we’re going to talk about is Julia’s ‘Winter Morning Routine 2015’, which was uploaded on November 14th, 2015. It’s¬†a lot of fun¬†to see our fav YouTubers morning/night routines because it makes us feel more connected to them. It’s cool to see that our fav gurus watch Netflix like us, stalk people on social media (oh you know you do that too…yeah you the one shaking their head, yup, you know you’re a professional social media stalker). If you want to learn a little more about Julia’s life then definitely give this video a try.

YouTube Wednesday: Keegan Acton…the new beauty/fashion guru that YouTube is obsessing over

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we’re going to talk about an incredible YouTuber who you will soon bekeegan acton addicted to. It can be really hard for a YouTuber to distinguish themselves because of all of the competition¬†from the other great channels on the website. Once you see Keegan’s videos, it’s easy to¬†figure out¬†that she¬†definitely stands out from the crowd. Not only is she knowledgeable about all of the topics that she discusses on her channel, but she’s also very entertaining to watch, has a natural on-camera presence, and she is able to engage her audience from the start of the video to the end. If you’re not already subscribed to her channel then you are definitely missing out. So please read on to discover the YouTuber that all your friends already love. Ready? Ok, let’s go!!!

The first video that we’re going to talk about is Keegan’s ‘Sephora and Charlotte Russe’ haul, which was uploaded on June 6th, 2013 (you can check out this video below). This video is the perfect introduction to Keegan’s channel because it shows us that she’s a natural born entertainer who can not only mesmerize her audience, but also leave them wanting to keep coming back to see more. I also love that this video is a haul because we get a glimpse at what Keegan’s personal style is like, which is a great way for her to connect with her audience. Next up we have her ‘First Impression | Nume Octo Wand’ video, which was uploaded on December 26th, 2013. First impression videos are great because we get to see what our fav YouTubers really think about a product without worrying that they’re just trying to get us to buy the product. In this video Keegan shows that she’s really good at reviewing products because she gives a very detailed review that tells us why the product is great, but does so in a way that allows us to figure out if this is the product for us.

Now we’re going to talk about Keegan’s ‘ My Braces Experience | EVERYTHING You Need To Know About Braces’ video, which was uploaded on March 17th, 2014. I think that one of the best things about YouTube is that we really get to know our favorite YouTubers in a way that makes us feel as if they’re our best friends. This video is a perfect example of that, because through this video Keegan is able to connect with all of her viewers who have braces, or will get braces in the near future. This is a MUST SEE video if you fall into either of these categories because Keegan is very detailed when she explains the process of getting braces put on, taken off, and everything in between. The final video that we’re¬†going to discuss today is Keegan’s ‘ iPhone Case Collection 2015’ video, which was uploaded on June 22nd, 2015 (you can check out this video below). Personally I love watching iPhone case collections because you get to see some really cool cases and learn where to get them (gotta have more stuff to add to that letter to Santa). In this video we not only get to see some really cute phone cases (I seriously want all of them), but we once again get¬†a glimpse into what Keegan’s personal style is, and how it has evolved. I really wish that I could have written about all of her videos because they’re all AMAZING, so I would definitely check out this channel if you want to give yourself an early Christmas present.

YouTube Wednesday: Alexa Mae…the new YouTuber that you will spend your whole spring break obsessing over

Hello people of the internet! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to discuss Alexa Mae, an AMAZING 18 year old beauty, fashion, lifestyle guru from Wisconsin that you NEED to check out. If you aren’t already subscribed to Alexa’s channel, then you definitely need to ASAP because she is a YouTube star on the rise that shows no signs of slowing down. In just about 3 1/2 months (as of March 11th, 2015), she had already gained 12,885 subscribers, and 135,437 total channel views. Honestly how insane is that? If you’re still not convinced that you should subscribe (like right this very second), then check out a few of Alexa’s videos below and prepare to become her #1 fan.

The first video that we’re going to talk about is Alexa’s ‘My Night Routine Holiday Edition!’ video, which was uploaded on November 25th, 2014. This is probably one of the best debut videos that I’ve ever seen on YouTube. All of the technical aspects like lighting and editions are perfect, and Alexa’s personality really shines throughout the video. Through this video Alexa is able to keep us interested in what she’s saying, and definitely makes you want to continue watching her videos. Honestly with such a strong start, I’m excited to see how good her videos will be years from now.

The next video that we’re going to discuss is Alexa’s ‘Cute & Easy DIY Mason Jar Room Decor’ video, which was uploaded on January 9th, 2015. I thought that this was a really cool idea, and with spring right around the corner, these jars will definitely add a little fun to your decor. Personally I really love that this DIY is easy to follow, and versatile enough that you can add your own style to make each jar unique. These also make really cool (and cheap) gifts for family and friends if you’re on a budget (or you spent all of your money at Starbucks…again).

This is definitely a fun video to check out, and I highly suggest that you try out this DIY. Now we’re going to talk about Alexa’s ‘What’s on my iPhone + How I Edit Instagram Photos!’ video, which was uploaded on February 23rd, 2015. Now admit it, we all love seeing what cool apps other people have on their phones. I was honestly really excited to see this video because you can tell that Alexa knows how to edit (I mean look at how great her videos are edited). The thing that I liked best about this video was the fact that the process that Alexa uses to edit her photos isn’t difficult to follow, and the end result will make all your selfies look very cool.

The last video that we’re going to talk about is Alexa’s ‘Huge Spring Haul 2015!’, which was uploaded on March 7th, 2015. Now y’all know that we’re not going to talk about a beauty/fashion guru and now include a haul video. As you can probably guess, I LOVED this video (honestly it’s hard not to love Alexa’s videos). I think that it’s fun to check out what other people buy because you really get a sense of their style and personality, and you can get a lot of cool outfit ideas from these videos. Alexa definitely found a lot of cute spring pieces that you will all want to run out and get right now.

YouTube Wednesday: #DearMe, the new YouTube campaign that you HAVE to check out

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday. We are going to talk about a very interesting¬†question that is a part of a new floating around YouTube. The¬†question is “what wisdom would you share with you teenage self?”. YouTube asked many of its’ female creators to make a video where they answer this question (in honor of International Woman’s Day, which is on March 8th), using the hashtag #DearMe. I thought that this was a really cool topic to¬†talk about, because honestly I think we all have things that we would love to tell our teenage selves.¬†I watched A LOT of these videos, and¬†even though they were all great, I decided to bring y’all 4 YouTubers from various¬†YouTube communities. So¬†check out these AMAZING women of the internet, and let me know what you would love to tell your teenage self.

First off, we’re going to talk about actress/comedian/vlogger Grace Helbig’s video. Now most people¬†know Grace from her previous YouTube show¬†‘Daily Grace’,¬†her¬†personal YouTube channel, her podcast ‘Not Too Deep With Grace Helbig’, her self-help book ‘Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grown-Up’, her work as a co-producer/co-star on the feature film ‘Camp Dakota’, and sooo much more TV/YouTube work that would be too long to list. I really loved Grace’s video, because it was full of a lot of good advice, but still included some of the humor that makes Grace so much fun to watch. In this video, she talks about having fun with life, and always laughing no matter what is going on. I think that that is a really good message, because as we get older we can forget to take the time to have fun, and eventually just become stressed out messes (and who wants that right?), Grace also talks about not letting your fear’s control you, and even says that there is a philosophy in¬†improv comedy that says you should “follow your fear”. I think that this is good advice to follow, because as the great philosopher Taylor Swift once said ‚ÄúTo me, Fearless is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, Fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, Fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death”. Check out her video here:

Daily

Next up we have violinist Lindsey Stirling, who was first introduced to us when she competed on¬†season 5 of America’s¬†Got Talent in 2010 (she competed as a hip-hop violinist, which meant that she played the violin while showing dancing…yeah I’m guessing that is MUCH harder than it sounds).¬†Lindsey then went on to blow us away on YouTube¬†with her AMAZING covers, and original music. In her #DearMe video,¬†Lindsey talks about how when we’re young (and¬†occasionally when we grow up), we are very insecure, and often feel like we have to impress everybody. Lindsey says that the best way to handle this is too remember that “you would care a lot less about what people thought about you, if you knew how little they thought about you”. Which means that everybody is so insecure about their own “flaws”, that the majority of the time they’re¬†not even thinking about your “flaws”. She also talks about how she would advice herself too not be afraid of putting yourself out there and making new friends, talking to people who you want to be more than friends with, and following your dreams, because if you try and fail, you’ll at least know instead of wondering what could have been. Lindsey would definitely know all about perseverance, because when she was voted off America’s Got Talent, the judges told her that she would “never be able to fill stadiums”, and that her style just wasn’t marketable. Obviously they were wrong, since Lindsey is now in the middle of a world tour, and billions of people have viewed her videos online.

Now we’re going to talk about a YouTuber who I wasn’t previously familiar with, but I’ve watched some of her videos, and she is AWESOME! Who is this YouTuber? Fashion/beauty guru Scherezade Shroff. Scherezade is also an actress and¬†has modeled for numerous international campaigns, as well as has¬†walked in numerous fashion shows.¬†In her ‘#DearMe’ video, she says that she would tell her teenage self to “love all your imperfections”. In this video, she reveals that as a teen, she dealt with having bad skin, pressure to change her hair, eyebrows, and teeth,¬†and also¬†suffered from Alopecia (which is a condition that makes you start to go bald).¬†With all of the pressure that women (and men) go through to fit a certain image of what makes a person “beautiful”, it’s nice to see a YouTuber who was able to accept her “flaws”, and actually achieve her dream of becoming a model. I think that this video really makes you think that anything is possible.

Ok, the last video that we’re going to talk about is iHasCupquake’s video. She is a¬†gamer, self-proclaimed “geeky baker”, and also post DIY (Do It Yourself) videos. I wasn’t familiar with this YouTuber either, but after watching a few of her videos, I found that she has¬†a fun/funny personality, with a channel full of diverse content, definitely a channel too check out if you haven’t already. Her #DearMe video was all about being yourself, and remembering that “You like what you like”, and that’s ok.¬†It’s really cool to see influential YouTubers encouraging their viewers to celebrate their uniqueness (let your weird live people), because it can be hard for¬†us to be ourselves and enjoy the things that make us happy, if these things aren’t “cool” (as long as what you enjoy isn’t illegal or hurts anyone, go for it!). She also brought up a really good point about surrounding yourself with good people¬†who will lift you up,¬†because “who you surround yourself with is a reflection of you”. I think that this is really really good advice, because if you’re around negative people then you will have A LOT of drama in your life, but if you’re around positive people, then life can be a lot easier. She also talked about how we change as we grow up, so you should not only embrace who you are, but who you will become.

Please follow all of these AMAZING YouTubers on their various social media accounts, which can be found on their YouTube channels.

YouTube Wednesday: thebeautyguru4u…the rising YouTube star whose name says it all!!!

¬†Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to discuss an AMAZING new beauty guru who is quickly winning over the internet with her humor, knowledge, and natural charisma. If you haven’t heard of Emma, aka thebeautyguru4u then you NEED to read this post immediately! Now I know that if you go on YouTube you will notice that there are¬†A LOT of incredible beauty gurus that you could spend you homework…I mean “free” time watching. So what makes Emma so different from the rest? Glad you asked! What I really enjoy about Emma’s channel, is the she’s very honest, she’s funny,¬†and she honestly makes you feel like you’re talking to a friend.¬†She is also very open with her viewers and because of this you really feel like you get to know her ona personal level. So if you want to find out why Emma really is the beautyguru4u, then please read on, and remember to subscribe to Emma’s channel. Ready? Let’s get started.

The first video we’re going to discuss is Emma’s ‘What’s in my Backpack!’ video, which was uploaded ¬†on December 8th, 2012. I thought that this was a really cool first video because it was different than most beauty/fashion gurus post, and you were still able to get a sense of what Emma’s channel would eventually become. In this video Emma seems very at ease in front of a camera, which makes her fun to watch and causes viewers to instantly want to learn more about her and her channel. I thought that this was a very good way to start off Emma’s channel, and makes you excited to see what’s to come. The next video we’re going to discuss is Emma’s ‘Hair Care Routine & Tips for Long and Healthy Hair’, which was uploaded on August 6th, 2013. I decided to talk to y’all about this video because a lot of people have a difficult time keeping their hair healthy in the fall/winter time. I really like this video because it’s detailed, and talks about how to wash your hair, how to properly blow dry it, what foods you should eat to promote hair growth, and other fun tips and tricks to help your hair grow longer and become stronger.

Next up we have Emma’s ‘New Years Eve Makeup’ video, which was uploaded on December 31st, 2013. I thought that y’all would really love this one because before we know it New Years Eve will be here and you’re gonna want to look GOOD (whether you actually have somewhere to go, or you have a date with your TV). I found this look to be really¬†cute and gave off a dressy vibe, without making you look ¬†overly done. I definitely think that you would stand out with this look, and (bonus points time!) it’s not that difficult to recreate. Lastly we have Emma’s ‘HUGE Fall Haul 2014! Bath & Body Works, Tobi, Forever 21’ video, which was uploaded on October 22nd, 2014. Personally I love halls (I mean really, who doesn’t!?!), because you get all the fun parts of shopping, without having to spend money (everybody wins!). Anyways, what I really loved about this haul, is that you could fully see how much Emma has grown as a vlogger. Also, I love it when beauty gurus shop at places that all of their viewers have access too, because it’s easier to get style inspiration that way. After watching¬†this video, you’re left to grow excited about how much more Emma’s channel will grow, and the AMAZING videos that she will release (be excited people of the internet….be very excited!).¬†
