Hello people of the internet!!! In honor of the beginning of everyone’s favorite season (summer!), I thought that it would be fun to discuss our ‘2015 Summer Lookbook’. This time around we have 3 looks, with various expensive and inexpensive pieces that you can use throughout the season. No matter what your style is, or what you may be doing this summer, there should definitely be some pieces here that you can utilize. Before we start let’s hear a quick word from Olaf
I know that was cheesy, but I had to do it. Ready to move on to the lookbook? Ok, let’s go!
Boho:
White Fringe Tank from ‘The Kendall & Kylie Collection’ at ‘Pac Sun’:
This is a really cute top that not only has a cool design that will make your top stand out, but also takes the classic crop top in an interesting direction by adding long fringe. This is a really cool piece that you can use with various outfits all summer long!
Pink High Waisted Destroyed Denim Shorts from Wet Seal:
What I really liked about these shorts is that their pink hue is a perfect summer color, and the distressed design makes them perfect to create a boho or edgy look. These shorts are a fun change from the classic “blue jean” look, so it’s an easy way to switch up your look a little.
Daisy Aviator Sunglasses from Aeropostale:
I thought that these Aviators were the perfect accessory to add because they give the whole look a more chilled 70s vibe, and the daisies are a cool touch. Also, these glasses are inexpensive so if you wear them to a concert or festival, you wouldn’t have to worry if they get lost or broken.
Lace Up Peep Toe Booties from Forever 21:
I feel like these boots are definitely a bit of an unusual choice, but I thought that they gave the outfit a very cool vibe. Also this is another piece that you can use with multiple looks so it’s a win for sure.
Dressy:
Dressy Lace Circle Dress from H & M:
I’m so in love with this dress y’all, I just can’t! It’s the perfect length for just about any occasion, and it’s also very forgiving (because you know some times we need the help). I also thought that the lace gives the dress a very summer feel, but it can also be transitioned to fall, winter, and spring so you’ll get your money’s worth out of this piece.
Dressy Look Lace Up Gladiator Wedge Sandals from Forever 21:
Right now EVERYONE is lovin Gladiator sandals and we can’t blame them! These shoes will definitely dress down this outfit a bit, and also give your feet a well deserved break. You can always replace these shoes with flats or heels if you need to for a certain occasion, but these sandals will definitely be your go to shoes this season.
Coach Corner Zip Wristlet in Printed Crossgrain Leather from Macy’s:
This is such a cool wristlet y’all! I just can’t get over how much I completely love this thing. Honestly we all know Coach is expensive and not something that most of us fill our closets with, but if you’re going to invest in a Coach accessory, I think that this is a pretty good way to go. If interested, you can pop over to this page to check out a few offers. If possible, you can use them to buy this wristlet. It is cool because you can fit your important cards, your money, put your phone in your pocket and your good to go. I loved the colors on this piece, which is why impaired it with this dress, but honestly you could pair it with any.
Gold Rhinestone with Fringe Statement Necklace from Icings:
This is a really pretty, inexpensive necklace that you can honestly reuse over and over all year. The best part is that it’s perfect for a more dressy outfit, small enough to dress up a casual outfit, and you also get a fun, summer feel from the piece with the fringe. I also saw a beautiful name necklace recently and I’m very tempted to buy it. Pretty much any gold necklace will look great with a summer outfit.
Casual:
Pink Graphic Tee from ‘The Bethany Mota Collection’ at Aeropostale:
Now you know we all have those days when we just don’t wanna try (some of us have those days more than others), but just because we’re going casual, doesn’t mean we need to sacrifice looking cute. This t-shirt looks super comfy, and shorts with funny sayings always have a place in my heart (Right? Right!).
RVCA Lower Deck Soft Shorts from Pac Sun:
Now another trend that everyone is loving is soft shorts (if we can just get everyone on a sweatpants & flip-flops trend life would be perfect…one day people of the internet, it will be back). These shorts are honestly one of my fav trends because the shorts feel like wearing pajamas but are socially acceptable (WIN!!!). Besides being incredibly comfy, these particular shorts also have a cool pattern that you can match with a variety of tops.
Converse All Star Ox from Footlocker:
If we’re taking comfort, you don’t need to look any further than converse. These shoes have found a place in our hearts for sooo many years, and honestly we’ll always love them. I thought these were cool because they have an interesting metallic shine that just adds a little extra flair to the outfit.
Studded Floppy Hat from Charlotte Russe:
Now if we’re really having a casual day then the hair might not exactly be runway ready, so you can either do a bun, a ponytail, or a fun hat. Once summer hits floppy hats are A MUST and I thought that this studded one was particularly awesome because…well…it’s studded and studded stuff automatically looks cooler (oh you know it’s true).

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to discuss our ‘2014 Winter Lookbook’. With Christmas and New Years Eve on the way, I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to start thinking about what cute outfit you want to wear in all of your holiday selfies. Usually in the lookbooks, we show casual, girly, and edgy looks, but this time I thought it would be fun to switch things up and style trendy, grungy, and preppy looks. Remember that you can mix and match the various looks, add accessories, or make various other changes depending on your personal style, and what the weather is like where you are. So let’s jump into it!
Trendy Look:
White faux fur jacket from H&M:
I love this jacket for a trendy look, because it’s warm, comfortable, and instantly adds a touch of class to every outfit. This jacket is perfect for any holiday party, and isn’t real fur, so it’s animal friendly.
Black open back maxi dress from the Kendall and Kylie Collection at Pac Sun:
Crop tops were HUGE this year, so this dress is an easy way to take the trend and transition it into the winter season. The slit in the front adds a flirty touch to the dress (perfect to lure in a midnight kiss from that special someone on New Year’s Eve).
Black and White colored blocked ankle strap pumps from Forever 21:
Adding the color block trend always gives an extra touch of coolness to any outfit, so these shoes are the perfect thing to easily color-coordinate your outfit without simply adding a solid colored shoe.
Rhinestone Bib Necklace from Forever 21:
I love this chunky necklace because it’s an easy way to add a cute accessory to your outfit without having to try to hard (gotta love easy fashion!).
Madison Evening Belles Ambrose clutch from Kate Spade:
No trendy look would be complete without a cute clutch, and with the cool jewels on this one, you will feel like you’re carrying stars with you wherever you go.
Grunge Look:
Fishnet-Paneled Textured Top from Forever 21:
This top is perfect if you want to try out the crop top trend that was really popular all year. The partially concealed cutout in the front of the top really gives it a touch of edge, which makes it perfect for any event you have scheduled this holiday season.
Gypsy Warrior Super High Rise Lace Up Skinniest Jeans from Pac Sun:
I really liked these jeans because the lace up front is an interesting touch, and will definitely add a little more style to this or any other crop top you want to pair it with.
Vintage Wash Denim Jacket:
Who doesn’t love a jean jacket right? This is the perfect piece to give the outfit a 90s grunge feel, and the best part is you can turn the jacket into a DIY project by drawing on it, adding cool embelishments, or ripping it. I’ve been looking at some christmas embroidery designs to add to my denim jacket. I think it’ll look super cute! Christmas is my favorite holiday so I’m planning on creating a Christmas-themed denim jacket that I can wear all throughout December. I’m thinking about buying some Santa embroidery patches but I’m still deciding which other designs to get. As long as it looks Christmassy I don’t mind!
Payyton black suede booties from Steve Madden:
This boot has a smallish heel which is perfect for anyone who is hated by all heels (like me), and the fringe adds a very 1970s vintage edge to the look. This boot is also versatile enough to pair with a lot of other outfits so it’s a good staple piece to have.
Ecote Embellished Small Shoulder Bag from Urban Outfitters:
This cross-body bag has a lot of very cool golden colored jewels all around it, that go along perfectly with the vintage grunge vibe this outfit has. It’s also small enough to carry with you anywhere, but big enough to hold all your essentials (I mean how could we survive without Instagram and Twitter?).
Contrast Collar Plaid Shift Dress from Forever 21:
Flannels were really in during the fall, so this dress is an easy way to transition this style into the winter season.
Black Brocade Tights from the Bethany Mota Collection at Aéropostale:
These tights are the perfect way to keep you warm this winter season, and the light rose pattern they have on them add a really cute touch to the outfit.
White and Black Marled Tweed Bomber Jacket from Forever 21:
This jacket is the perfect way to warm up this look, and not compete with the pattern of the plaid. It’s another item that is versatile, so it can become a stale piece in your wardrobe.
Slipified Flat from Kenneth Cole Reaction:
I love this flat because it has the color locking of an oxford shoe, but the versatility of a flat (you gotta love items that you can use in various style combinations).

Hello people of the internet!!! Do you want to look amazing on Valentine’s Day, but you have no idea what to wear!?! I can help you! Check out this gallery, for girly, casual, and edgy/alternative styles.
Dressy Look:
Red Bandage Dress:
This piece is the first step to achieving a dressy Valentine’s Day look. : I really love this bandage dress for Valentine’s Day because it’s dressy but also not too revealing, so you don’t have to worry about a wardrobe malfunction. This dress is also very flattering to many body types, so you can feel good about yourself wherever you are going. If the temperature is low where you live, you can also add black tights or leggings to the dress.
Red Bow Heels:
I really love these heels because they are a perfect complement to the dress, and they have bows (yes I’m obsessed with bows…but they’re so cute)! You can also substitute the heels for flats if they’re more comfortable/functional for you.
Black Leather Jacket with Fur Rimmed Neck:
Again, this piece is an add-on option if the temperature where you live is low, or will drop as the evening progresses. I really love the fur on this jacket because I feel as if it soften the edgy vibe of the leather.
Heart Shaped Pearl Earrings:
I really like pearl earrings for Valentine’s Day because I feel like they’re classy without being overly flashy. These particular earrings captured my attention because they are in the shape of a heart, which is perfect for the occasion.
Red Bow Clutch:
I really love clutches with dresses because I feel that they are large enough to hold all of your necessities, without being too bulky. This clutch perfectly matched the dress, and the bow matches the bows on the heels.
Casual Look:
Red plaid shirt:
A plaid shirt just screams trendy yet casual! I really like this shirt for the casual look, because you can wear it buttoned up, or unbuttoned with a t-shirt underneath. Plaid has been very on trend lately, and it’s an easy way to have a casual alternative to just a plain t-shirt.
Black Skinny Jeans:
I feel like skinny jeans are a stylish yet causal option, and black is also sliming, so your legs will look awesome!
All Red Sneakers:
I LOVE these shoes!!! They are very cool, and sneakers will allow you to have a fun night, without punishing your feet. These shoes are perfect for Valentine’s Day, but they are also great for all seasons, so I think that they are an excellent investment. If you’re looking to pick up a new pair of sneakers for yourself or a loved one, you may want to think about looking at the range of shoes that Adidas offers. Before making your purchase, it may be worth checking to see whether Raise has coupons or discounts available for this brand on their website in order to make a saving!
Red Bow Headband with Black Polka Dots:
I saw this bow, and just thought that it was soooo cute! I think that this headband is the perfect accessory to add a girly flair to a casual outfit. If it is cold where you live, you can substitute the headband for a black or red beanie.
Red Heart Necklace:
I really love this necklace because it has a red heart, which will add an extra special flair to the look, but it is not overly fancy. I would wear this stone with a long chain, to keep the casual vibe going.
Black Crossbody Fringe Bag:
I really like the fringe on this bag, because it adds a boho vibe to the casual look. I really like crossbody bags with casual looks, because I feel like your outfit determines you mode, and if you’re in a casual, carefree mood, then the last thing you want to do is carry a bag that you have to keep up with. With a crossbody, you can just pack your necessities, put the bag across you, and go.
Edgy/Alternative Look:
Red Lace Top:
Want to add a little edge or an alternative flair to you outfit? I think that this top is really cool, and is dressy without looking overly fancy. You can wear a spaghetti strap or strapless shirt underneath, so this shirt stays cute, without being too revealing.
Black Skater Skirt with Suspenders or Knit skirts:
I really love this piece because the skater skirt half of it looks fashionable, and the suspenders add a quirky touch. You can tuck in the red lace top, to help the two pieces complement each other. Or a mini skirt from Ronny Kobo designer clothing, for example, would make you both cute and sensual at the same time. Your partner is likely to drool over you as soon as he sees you in this adorable clothing.
Red Lace-Up Heels:
Ok, I am in complete awe of this shoes. They are cute, a little edgy, and perfect for numerous different looks. I think these are the kind of shoes that are so versatile, that they are a wardrobe must have.
Black Button Up Cardigan:
This is an optional weather dependent piece, but I think that it complements the outfit perfectly. You can wear this cardigan buttoned up, or unbuttoned.
Red and Black Fedora:
I really love this fedora because it not only goes with the color scheme, but it also adds a cool vibe to the overall outfit, and will definitely help you have a unique look.
Studded Black Bow Chain Purse:
Now we all know that I love bows and studs, so when you put the two together, it’s just magic! This purse is really cool, and is another piece that you can use with numerous looks.
Heart Ear Cuff:
If you’re not a fedora person, then you can pin half of your hair back, and wear a cute ear cuff (remember it is Valentine’s Day, so a heart ear cuff would be the perfect finishing touch).

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we will be discussing possible Thanksgiving Day wardrobe options that will help you look fashionable but also be comfortable. Turkey day can often be a hard day to dress for because you need to be comfortable enough to eat the Turkey, various pies, stuffing (ok this is making me hungry), but you also have to look cute, in case any family members want to snap a photo when you’re not looking (this means if they catch you with your mouth full, at least people will be looking at your cool outfit). Now I know that not all of us have the same style, so I’ve come up with three outfit choices that might suit each of your particular tastes. Let’s go!!!!!
Dressy Look:
Pink sparkly dress from Forever 21: This is a good option because pink looks flattering on a variety of skin tones (however it may not necessarily look good on every hair color, so BEWARE).
Black & White Ombré cardigan from Forever 21: I really like this piece, because it includes the ombré trend that was hot this summer, and the cardigancan be used to add warmth if you get chilly, but is also removable if it becomes too hot. I also think that the color is a good change from the standard black or grey cardigan.
‘Fergalicious’ heels from Famous Footwear: I really loved how these heels went so well with the top portion of the dress, and what dress is complete without heels right!?
Quilted Crossbody Bag from PacSun: This cute bag is the perfect finishing touch to your dressy outfit. It’s small so your outfit won’t look overwhelmed, but there is enough room for your phone, makeup, or any other necessary items.
Casual Look:
Blue leggings from Forever 21. I love these leggings because they’re bright so they stand out but they also give you the comfort of sweatpants.
Oversized space sweatshirt from PacSun: This sweater looks so cute, yet it gives you the ability to eat as much as you want, and still keep you from feeling self conscious about it (Yay! More food!).
Black and white Nike sneakers from Footlocker: These shoes give you the ability to relax or run around outside with family or friends so you can enjoy your day without foot pain (YES!!!!!).
White Steve Madden bag (optional): This piece isn’t 100% necessary for this look, but if you need a place to keep your phone, makeup, etc. then this bag is perfect for you.
Edgy Look
Zebra print skinny jeans from H&M: These jeans will definitely stand out, which is an easy way to add a cool vibe to an outfit.
‘Sesame Street’ muscle shirt from Forever 21: I know it might be a little too cold for a sleeveless shirt but you can wear a black long sleeved shirt underneath it, or wear a cardigan or a biker jacket like the one mentioned a little later on. On a side note, how cute are the ‘Sesame Street’ puppets reenacting a famous ‘Beatles’ pose!
Studded Ankle Boots from Forever 21: If you want to easily add edge to an outfit, studs are the way to go.
Black oversized biker jacket from TopShop: This jacket can keep you toasty when you go outside, and if you get too wear, you can take it off and show everyone your awesome ‘Sesame Street’ shirt.
Black fringe Steve Madden tote bag from Dillard’s: This bag is just the perfect way to complete your look…and the pattern is so cool!
