Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are jumping into fall fashion. This week is the official kickoff for the fall season, so that means that it’s time to bring back all of those fall clothes that we wait all year to wear. This time around I decided to make three categories for the looks. The categories are a girly look, a casual look, and a mixed bag look (which is a combination of the previous two looks with a few other style thrown in). Some of the looks have staple pieces that you can reuse so that means you save money and can buy more clothes (yay!!!). Please let me know what you think, and if I miss any awesome pieces then let me know in the comments below. Ready? Ok, let’s go!!!
Tokyo Darling Sheer Oversized Dolman Sweater from Aeropostale:
Now I know in a lot of places it may till be too hot to wear a sweater, but this sweater is sheer so it’s more lightweight, and it’s easy to transition into winter so I think it’s a good investment piece. Also, the color is a little more lively then the typical fall colors that we see, but it’s not a bright hue so it feels like a fall color.
Patterned Stripe Cotton Skater Skirt from Charlotte Russe:
One of the great things about fall is that it can start to get a little cold, but it’s still warm enough to wear summer/spring pieces. I love pairing a summery fashion skirt with a warmer denim jacket or long-sleeved shirt. It can be a lot of fun to play with accessories and transition these pieces into looks you can wear in the fall. I like this skirt because it’s an easy color and pattern to accessories because it’s not to bright or busy.
Polka Dot Bow Over-The-Knee Socks by Bethany Mota from Aeropostale:
Speaking of accessories, I absolutely fell in love with these socks because their comfy, warm, and the little bow on the top is too adorable for words. These socks are perfect to warm up any skirt or dress, and definitely make you feel like fall is in the air.
Tall Lace-Up Combat Boots from Wet Seal:
Ok now we al know that fall is the time where we bring back some of our favorite thing like: Pumpkin Spice Lattes, holidays were we eat way more food than we’ll admit, and tall combat boots! These boots are not only cute, but they will warm up any dress/skirt, and are in a color that I neutral enough, that you can practically wear it with anything.
Chain Event Crossbody Bag from Wet Seal:
I really like this bag because it’s very simple but not boring. White is a great color to add a little something special to any outfit. A crossbody is a really great way to go with a bag, because you don’t have to worry about the bag bothering you as you walk or go through your day so you gotta love accessorizes that cooperate with us.
Live Your Life Graphic Tee from American Eagle:
If you want to look cute but not have to actually try, then a statement tee is perfect because the catchy saying on the shirt can serve as its’ own accessory. Personally I love long sleeved tees for the fall because if it’s hot you can roll your sleeves up to cool down, and if it’s cold then you can leave your sleeves down to warm up (it’s a win for everyone).
Refuge Hi-Waist Super Skinny Colored Jeans from Charlotte Russe:
Ok let’s admit it, skinny jeans are a fall staple, and the perfect way to wear jeans that are comfortable (at least as comfortable as you can be in skinny jeans) while still looking like you didn’t grab the first thing you saw in your closet. I am so in love with these wine colored jeans because the color is beautiful for fall, and colored skinny jeans always add some extra flair to an outfit.
Tribal Print Tassel Tote Bag from Forever 21
Ok now I know that tribal print is usually more of a summer thing, but it’s a piece that most people probably already own, and a bag like this should go with a lot of different looks so it’s easy to accessorize. Bonus points, totes can usually carry a lot of stuff, so if you’re always on the go then you can carry all of life’s necessities with you (yesssss!).
Knit Cuff Faux Leather Combat Boots from Wet Seal:
Ok now I will admit that I’m really obsessed with boots so that’s why there are so many in this lookbook. Now it might still be a little to warm to wear these in a lot of places, but there will be perfect later in the fall/winter season so they’re a good investment (and the faux fur inside means that they will feel AMAZING on your feet!
Mixed Bag Look:
Tokyo Darling Long Sleeve Checkered Woven Tunic from Aeropostale:
With this look, I wanted to find pieces that you could use in multiple ways and a plaid shirt is perfect for that. You can dress it up for a more preppy or girly look, or you can dress it down for a grunge inspired look. This type of shirt can also be used all year so it can easily become a staple piece.
Refuge Boyfriend Splattered & Destroyed Jeans from Charlotte Russe:
Another staple piece that EVERYONE has are ripped jeans. This isn’t a piece that you can really dress up, but you can either use them to go for a super grunge look, or a more casual look which lets your jeans take center stage without you having to really try. I really like these particular jeans because the splatter on the denim makes the jeans look really cool (just a little side note).
Faux Suede Lace-Up Booties from Wet Seal:
I know I know, none of you are surprised that there are more boots in this lookbook but in my defense…boots are really cute (yeah I know it’s not a great defense). What I like about these particular boots is that they can be used all year long, and they are an easy way to dress up any outfit. Whether you’re wearing a dress or a t-shirt and jeans, these boots ill work their magic.
Oversized Studded Tote Bag from Charlotte Russe:
Now this is a pretty standard type of bag, the color is very neutral so it can be your go to bag, and you can keep everything you need in it. I love the studs because they add just a little edge to a casual outfit, without being to overpowering.

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we’re talking all about back to school fashion. This time I decided to split the looks into 3 categories (preppy, casual, and uniform). I tried not to include any pieces that might violate most school dress codes, but you can always substitute any of the pieces for more weather appropriate choices depending on what your school allows (or if you’re in college and can pretty much wear whatever you want…but you’ll probably end up leaving in sweat pants or leggings…anyways, moving on now). I also didn’t include any skirts, dresses, or shorts because schools can be really picky on these pieces. So now let get to the part that you’re all waiting on, the clothes! Ready? Ok, let’s go!!!
Self-Tie Bow Blouse from Forever 21:
I know that this piece is a little different than what are usually in these Lookbooks, but I just thought that it had a very cool prim and proper flair. Sorta like something Spencer from ‘Pretty Little Liars’ would wear.
Skinny Jeans from American Eagle:
Skinny jeans really help add to this look and a bonus is that you can keep using these in the fall and winter so that means more money to buy other pieces (yay!).
Lace-Up Brogue Oxfords from Charlotte Russe:
You just gotta love a good Oxford shoe, because it’s dressy but also comfortable so you can run from one side of the school to the other without worrying about breaking your ankles.
Big Mango Backpack from Amazon:
I just have to say that I LOVE this backpack. It’s perfectly dresses up any outfit, and is big enough to fit your books and even a computer. You gotta love a backpack that’s fashionable and functional!
Eyelash Lace-Trimmed Sweater from Forever 21
Ok I know it’s probably still a little warm for a sweater, but this just looked so comfortable that I couldn’t resist adding it. The lace trim definitely dresses up the piece, and it goes great with so many different outfits that it will soon become one of your closet staples.
Plaid Leggings from The Bethany Mota Collection by Aeropostale
Plaid is a great pattern to invest in because again you can use it in just about any season, so it saves money in the long run. Also, leggings are great on those days when you just don’t want to put any effort into you look, but don’t want anyone else to know that.
Easton Chunky Heel Combat Boots from Target:
Now what Back To School Lookbook would be complete without combat boots. You can use these boots for a casual look, edgy look, or anything in between. On another note, they’re also really comfy so this it’s a good alternative to sneakers, and combat boots are always in style.
Hynes Eagle Backpack from Amazon:
Ok I have to say that I’m seriously OBESSED with this backpack, it’s just amazing! The Eiffel tower picture is really cool, and the bright colors really pop, so you will definitely get noticed in the hallways. The best thing about this backpack is it’s perfect for anyone who’s constantly on the go, because it will hold all your stuff without any fuss.
White Short Sleeve Polo from American Eagle
I decided to add this category because it can really suck to have to wear uniforms, but just because you’re stuck wearing them doesn’t mean you still can’t look cute (on a side note accessories really help, just make sure you’re following your school’s dress code BEFORE you go shopping).
High Rise Jegging from H&M:
Now I’m not 100% sure what the general dress code policy is on jeggings but they look like jeans so that should be ok…right? I would definitely recommend getting high waisted jeans if you can, because they’re perfect if you have to have your shirt tucked in, and high waisted anything is really hot right now so it’s a double win!
Converse All Star Hi Wonder Woman Sneaker from Journeys:
Ok usually schools seem to be pretty relaxed when it come to sneakers, so this presents a really awesome opportunity to show off your individual style. On another note, if Wonder Woman isn’t your thing, this sneaker is also available with Superman and Batman prints so you’ll probably find something that you like.
Leaper Casual Canvas Backpack from Amazon:
I thought that this backpack will probably match most school uniforms, and it’s cute so your uniform won’t look so ordinary. Your backpack is another way to show off your individuality (unless you school requires clear backpacks), so if you’re forced to wear a uniform, this is definitely a good way to express your individuality.

Hello people of the internet!!! In honor of the beginning of everyone’s favorite season (summer!), I thought that it would be fun to discuss our ‘2015 Summer Lookbook’. This time around we have 3 looks, with various expensive and inexpensive pieces that you can use throughout the season. No matter what your style is, or what you may be doing this summer, there should definitely be some pieces here that you can utilize. Before we start let’s hear a quick word from Olaf
I know that was cheesy, but I had to do it. Ready to move on to the lookbook? Ok, let’s go!
White Fringe Tank from ‘The Kendall & Kylie Collection’ at ‘Pac Sun’:
This is a really cute top that not only has a cool design that will make your top stand out, but also takes the classic crop top in an interesting direction by adding long fringe. This is a really cool piece that you can use with various outfits all summer long!
Pink High Waisted Destroyed Denim Shorts from Wet Seal:
What I really liked about these shorts is that their pink hue is a perfect summer color, and the distressed design makes them perfect to create a boho or edgy look. These shorts are a fun change from the classic “blue jean” look, so it’s an easy way to switch up your look a little.
Daisy Aviator Sunglasses from Aeropostale:
I thought that these Aviators were the perfect accessory to add because they give the whole look a more chilled 70s vibe, and the daisies are a cool touch. Also, these glasses are inexpensive so if you wear them to a concert or festival, you wouldn’t have to worry if they get lost or broken.
Lace Up Peep Toe Booties from Forever 21:
I feel like these boots are definitely a bit of an unusual choice, but I thought that they gave the outfit a very cool vibe. Also this is another piece that you can use with multiple looks so it’s a win for sure.
Dressy Lace Circle Dress from H & M:
I’m so in love with this dress y’all, I just can’t! It’s the perfect length for just about any occasion, and it’s also very forgiving (because you know some times we need the help). I also thought that the lace gives the dress a very summer feel, but it can also be transitioned to fall, winter, and spring so you’ll get your money’s worth out of this piece.
Dressy Look Lace Up Gladiator Wedge Sandals from Forever 21:
Right now EVERYONE is lovin Gladiator sandals and we can’t blame them! These shoes will definitely dress down this outfit a bit, and also give your feet a well deserved break. You can always replace these shoes with flats or heels if you need to for a certain occasion, but these sandals will definitely be your go to shoes this season.
Coach Corner Zip Wristlet in Printed Crossgrain Leather from Macy’s:
This is such a cool wristlet y’all! I just can’t get over how much I completely love this thing. Honestly we all know Coach is expensive and not something that most of us fill our closets with, but if you’re going to invest in a Coach accessory, I think that this is a pretty good way to go. If interested, you can pop over to this page to check out a few offers. If possible, you can use them to buy this wristlet. It is cool because you can fit your important cards, your money, put your phone in your pocket and your good to go. I loved the colors on this piece, which is why impaired it with this dress, but honestly you could pair it with any.
Gold Rhinestone with Fringe Statement Necklace from Icings:
This is a really pretty, inexpensive necklace that you can honestly reuse over and over all year. The best part is that it’s perfect for a more dressy outfit, small enough to dress up a casual outfit, and you also get a fun, summer feel from the piece with the fringe. I also saw a beautiful name necklace recently and I’m very tempted to buy it. Pretty much any gold necklace will look great with a summer outfit.
Pink Graphic Tee from ‘The Bethany Mota Collection’ at Aeropostale:
Now you know we all have those days when we just don’t wanna try (some of us have those days more than others), but just because we’re going casual, doesn’t mean we need to sacrifice looking cute. This t-shirt looks super comfy, and shorts with funny sayings always have a place in my heart (Right? Right!).
RVCA Lower Deck Soft Shorts from Pac Sun:
Now another trend that everyone is loving is soft shorts (if we can just get everyone on a sweatpants & flip-flops trend life would be perfect…one day people of the internet, it will be back). These shorts are honestly one of my fav trends because the shorts feel like wearing pajamas but are socially acceptable (WIN!!!). Besides being incredibly comfy, these particular shorts also have a cool pattern that you can match with a variety of tops.
Converse All Star Ox from Footlocker:
If we’re taking comfort, you don’t need to look any further than converse. These shoes have found a place in our hearts for sooo many years, and honestly we’ll always love them. I thought these were cool because they have an interesting metallic shine that just adds a little extra flair to the outfit.
Studded Floppy Hat from Charlotte Russe:
Now if we’re really having a casual day then the hair might not exactly be runway ready, so you can either do a bun, a ponytail, or a fun hat. Once summer hits floppy hats are A MUST and I thought that this studded one was particularly awesome because…well…it’s studded and studded stuff automatically looks cooler (oh you know it’s true).

Hello people of the Internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday we’re going to talk about another INCREDIBLE YouTuber that is quickly on the rise. Elaine (aka Heylaine) is a beauty/fashion/DIY guru who will have you smiling, laughing (and taking notes), as she explains how to get Instagram worthy hair and makeup. Not just that, but Elaine is great at finding home decor options like those at www.neonfilter.com and has great tips for placing them and even creating your own! With her help, you and your home are sure to be the best looking out there.
Y’all definitely NEED to check out her channel now, because you don’t want to be lost when all your friends are addicted to her channel and you’re like “what?” (Btw in only 4 months Elaine has earned 3,829 subscribers, which is beyond amazing). These numbers are absolutely amazing, and no doubt Elaine has the views to go with it! In the first month of being on YouTube, many would buy views, as discussed on Tinkapp.com to gain recognition, but clearly Elaine doesn’t need this! So now let’s get to the videos! Ready? Ok, let’s go!
The first video that we’re going talk about is Elaine’s ‘My Everyday Makeup Routine’, which was uploaded on March 5th, 2015. This is a really great video for anyone who loves makeup because this particular look is easy to manipulate depending on whether you’re going out, hanging with friends, or are on a date with Netflix. You can check out the video below! Next up we have her ‘HUGE Spring Clothing Haul 2015 | F21, Topshop, Brandy Melville & More!’, which was uploaded on March 24th, 2015. Y’all knew that there had to be a haul video because hauls are AMAZING! I think that you can really learn all about a YouTuber’s sense of style busy checking out their hauls, and this makes us feel like they could be our style BFFs. Also, haul videos give you the illusion of shopping without you actually having to spend money so it’s a win for everyone.
Now let’s talk about Elaine’s ‘DIY Room Decor for Spring | & Tumblr Inspired!’, which was uploaded on April 30th, 2015. This is a really fun video that will teach you how to make some really cool, inexpensive decor pieces that will help you makeover any space for the spring which you can pair with wall stickers and other decorations to make it stand out in any room. These pieces are all easy to make, very customizable so you can add your own unique style to each project. Another great thing about this video? You can save money by creating the pieces yourself, and spend that money on some of the cute stuff you saw in Elaine’s haul video (yay!). Lastly, we’re going to talk about Elaine’s ‘How Girls Get Ready in the Morning | Morning Routine!’ video, which was uploaded on May 17th, 2015. This is a really funny video that really allows us to see Elaine’s bubbly, fun personality, and her natural on-camera charisma. You will definitely relate to this video (because #TheStruggleIsReal…seriously it is) and will find yourself watching it again and again. This video will not only make you become an even bigger fan of Elaine but will also leave you anxiously awaiting her next video (check out the video below to see what I mean).

Hello people of the internet! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to discuss Alexa Mae, an AMAZING 18 year old beauty, fashion, lifestyle guru from Wisconsin that you NEED to check out. If you aren’t already subscribed to Alexa’s channel, then you definitely need to ASAP because she is a YouTube star on the rise that shows no signs of slowing down. In just about 3 1/2 months (as of March 11th, 2015), she had already gained 12,885 subscribers, and 135,437 total channel views. Honestly how insane is that? If you’re still not convinced that you should subscribe (like right this very second), then check out a few of Alexa’s videos below and prepare to become her #1 fan.
The first video that we’re going to talk about is Alexa’s ‘My Night Routine Holiday Edition!’ video, which was uploaded on November 25th, 2014. This is probably one of the best debut videos that I’ve ever seen on YouTube. All of the technical aspects like lighting and editions are perfect, and Alexa’s personality really shines throughout the video. Through this video Alexa is able to keep us interested in what she’s saying, and definitely makes you want to continue watching her videos. Honestly with such a strong start, I’m excited to see how good her videos will be years from now.
The next video that we’re going to discuss is Alexa’s ‘Cute & Easy DIY Mason Jar Room Decor’ video, which was uploaded on January 9th, 2015. I thought that this was a really cool idea, and with spring right around the corner, these jars will definitely add a little fun to your decor. Personally I really love that this DIY is easy to follow, and versatile enough that you can add your own style to make each jar unique. These also make really cool (and cheap) gifts for family and friends if you’re on a budget (or you spent all of your money at Starbucks…again).
This is definitely a fun video to check out, and I highly suggest that you try out this DIY. Now we’re going to talk about Alexa’s ‘What’s on my iPhone + How I Edit Instagram Photos!’ video, which was uploaded on February 23rd, 2015. Now admit it, we all love seeing what cool apps other people have on their phones. I was honestly really excited to see this video because you can tell that Alexa knows how to edit (I mean look at how great her videos are edited). The thing that I liked best about this video was the fact that the process that Alexa uses to edit her photos isn’t difficult to follow, and the end result will make all your selfies look very cool.
The last video that we’re going to talk about is Alexa’s ‘Huge Spring Haul 2015!’, which was uploaded on March 7th, 2015. Now y’all know that we’re not going to talk about a beauty/fashion guru and now include a haul video. As you can probably guess, I LOVED this video (honestly it’s hard not to love Alexa’s videos). I think that it’s fun to check out what other people buy because you really get a sense of their style and personality, and you can get a lot of cool outfit ideas from these videos. Alexa definitely found a lot of cute spring pieces that you will all want to run out and get right now.
Alexa Mae, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Apple, and all of the products, companies, and businesses mentioned in any of the videos featured in this blog post, and all original owners. Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to discuss our ‘2014 Winter Lookbook’. With Christmas and New Years Eve on the way, I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to start thinking about what cute outfit you want to wear in all of your holiday selfies. Usually in the lookbooks, we show casual, girly, and edgy looks, but this time I thought it would be fun to switch things up and style trendy, grungy, and preppy looks. Remember that you can mix and match the various looks, add accessories, or make various other changes depending on your personal style, and what the weather is like where you are. So let’s jump into it!
White faux fur jacket from H&M:
I love this jacket for a trendy look, because it’s warm, comfortable, and instantly adds a touch of class to every outfit. This jacket is perfect for any holiday party, and isn’t real fur, so it’s animal friendly.
Black open back maxi dress from the Kendall and Kylie Collection at Pac Sun:
Crop tops were HUGE this year, so this dress is an easy way to take the trend and transition it into the winter season. The slit in the front adds a flirty touch to the dress (perfect to lure in a midnight kiss from that special someone on New Year’s Eve).
Black and White colored blocked ankle strap pumps from Forever 21:
Adding the color block trend always gives an extra touch of coolness to any outfit, so these shoes are the perfect thing to easily color-coordinate your outfit without simply adding a solid colored shoe.
Rhinestone Bib Necklace from Forever 21:
I love this chunky necklace because it’s an easy way to add a cute accessory to your outfit without having to try to hard (gotta love easy fashion!).
Madison Evening Belles Ambrose clutch from Kate Spade:
No trendy look would be complete without a cute clutch, and with the cool jewels on this one, you will feel like you’re carrying stars with you wherever you go.
Fishnet-Paneled Textured Top from Forever 21:
This top is perfect if you want to try out the crop top trend that was really popular all year. The partially concealed cutout in the front of the top really gives it a touch of edge, which makes it perfect for any event you have scheduled this holiday season.
Gypsy Warrior Super High Rise Lace Up Skinniest Jeans from Pac Sun:
I really liked these jeans because the lace up front is an interesting touch, and will definitely add a little more style to this or any other crop top you want to pair it with.
Vintage Wash Denim Jacket:
Who doesn’t love a jean jacket right? This is the perfect piece to give the outfit a 90s grunge feel, and the best part is you can turn the jacket into a DIY project by drawing on it, adding cool embelishments, or ripping it. I’ve been looking at some christmas embroidery designs to add to my denim jacket. I think it’ll look super cute! Christmas is my favorite holiday so I’m planning on creating a Christmas-themed denim jacket that I can wear all throughout December. I’m thinking about buying some Santa embroidery patches but I’m still deciding which other designs to get. As long as it looks Christmassy I don’t mind!
Payyton black suede booties from Steve Madden:
This boot has a smallish heel which is perfect for anyone who is hated by all heels (like me), and the fringe adds a very 1970s vintage edge to the look. This boot is also versatile enough to pair with a lot of other outfits so it’s a good staple piece to have.
Ecote Embellished Small Shoulder Bag from Urban Outfitters:
This cross-body bag has a lot of very cool golden colored jewels all around it, that go along perfectly with the vintage grunge vibe this outfit has. It’s also small enough to carry with you anywhere, but big enough to hold all your essentials (I mean how could we survive without Instagram and Twitter?).
Contrast Collar Plaid Shift Dress from Forever 21:
Flannels were really in during the fall, so this dress is an easy way to transition this style into the winter season.
Black Brocade Tights from the Bethany Mota Collection at Aéropostale:
These tights are the perfect way to keep you warm this winter season, and the light rose pattern they have on them add a really cute touch to the outfit.
White and Black Marled Tweed Bomber Jacket from Forever 21:
This jacket is the perfect way to warm up this look, and not compete with the pattern of the plaid. It’s another item that is versatile, so it can become a stale piece in your wardrobe.
Slipified Flat from Kenneth Cole Reaction:
I love this flat because it has the color locking of an oxford shoe, but the versatility of a flat (you gotta love items that you can use in various style combinations).

Hello people of the Internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to discuss Molly Bailey (aka missmollyanne14), the final member of ‘Behind the Beauty’, the new collab channel that I’m sure you’re all subscribed to by now (if you’re not here’s a link ). Molly is a very successful beauty/fashion guru whose channel currently has 120,467 subscribers (as of October 12th, 2014) and 4,827,417 total views (as of October 12th, 2014). If you love YouTubers who are witty, knowledgeable, and very interesting and funny then you definitely need to check out Molly’s channel. So let’s jump into the blog!
The first video that is currently on Molly’s channel was uploaded on January 14th, 2013, is entitled ‘What’s n My Purse’ (What’s In My Purse? ). I really really loved this video because you were able to get a really good idea of Molly’s personality, and what the vibe of her channel is. I love it when YouTubers are really open and honest with their viewers by allowing their real personalities to shine through. Molly seems like a really fun, bubbly, and interesting person to watch, which will make viewers continue to flock to her channel. I also didn’t feel like she was too awkward or stiff in this video (like some YouTubers are, but I mean c’mon cameras do take some time to get used to). Once I saw this video I immediately wanted to watch the rest, because you know that if Molly was able to get off to such a great start, then the rest of her videos are just going to be absolutely AMAZING. The next video that we are going to discuss is Molly’s ‘Fall/Winter Collective Haul!’ (Fall/Early Winter Collective Haul! Kate Spade, Target, Forever 21 – YouTube), which was uploaded on November 13th, 2013. I decided to talk to y’all about this video because the items in the haul were really really cute, and as you all know I love haul videos (I mean you get to shop without spending money what could be better than that!?!). Honestly I usually decide on which YouTubers I love to watch based off of their ability to make a good haul video…and Molly definitely didn’t disappoint. What I really enjoyed about this video, is that Molly showed items that were all very different style wise, which I personally loved because all of her viewers will most likely find something that fits their individual style. I also really loved that she engaged her viewers by asking them to leave comments on the video about what they thought of the things she bought, and how they would style certain things.
Next up we have Molly’s ‘Healthy Habits: 3 of My Go To Recipes for Breakfast’ (Healthy Habits: 3 of My Go To Recipes for Breakfast – YouTube), which was uploaded on July 7th, 2014. I thought that y’all would like this video because it shows 3 really unique recipes that are healthy and also yummy. They are also not difficult to follow, so I basically everyone could try these recipes out (I mean I can follow the instructions and I burn cereal…I’m just kidding…well sort of). I know that all of y’all are super big foodies, so you gotta love a video that allows you to give into your cravings without feeling like you have to run 5,000 miles afterwards…everybody wins!!! The final video that we are going to talk about is Molly’s ‘My Everyday School Look: Hair, Makeup, & Outfit’ video which was uploaded on August 27th, 2014 (My Everyday School Look: Hair, Makeup, & Outfit – YouTube). Now honestly I wish I could discuss each of Molly’s videos with y’all but then I would have you here reading this blog for months, and let’s be real, candy crush is not going to beat itself right? Right! So I choose 1 last video that I thought y’all would love! I thought that this was a cool video to feature because the hair, makeup, and outfit looks are really simple to replicate, and thus perfect for school. If you’re anything like me you literally have about 5 minutes to get ready before you have to leave, so this video is the perfect aid to help you look like you put some effort in your appearance without actually having to put some effort into your appearance. The makeup look is really natural so you won’t have to worry about your principal or parents not approving, and the hair and outfit looks are easy enough to do daily without having to sacrifice the small amount of sleep you are able to get after watching YouTube videos all night…I mean studying math and stuff…don’t worry I won’t tell on you.

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to discuss fall fashion! About 3 weeks ago, I posted a fall look book full of fun outfits for the fall season (here’s a link to that post Monday Memos: 2014 Fall Lookbook | celindareyesblog). The look book was posted in celebration of the beginning of fall, so I thought to follow that up today with some fall essentials that EVERYBODY needs to have. I featured items in this post that I actually own or just really really love, so remember that you can substitute any items for something similar. Hope y’all enjoy the post!!!
5) Leggings/Jeggings: Destroyed Jeggings – Long from Wet Seal
Personally I wish we could just wear sweatpants 24/7 but they say you’re not “suppose to”, so leggings and jeggings can often be a good alternative if you want to combine style and comfort. I really liked these jeggings form Wet Seal because they have the cool destroyed element that will instantly add an edge to any outfit. I think that the destroyed look on jeans/jeggings will always be cool, so you definitely won’t go wrong with adding these to your wardrobe.
4) Skincare: Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment from Sephora
For a lot of people, the changing weather can mean changes in your skin, so I HIGHLY suggest this product from the AMAZING Kate Someville. I absolutely love this product because it makes your skin feel really clean, smooth, and just completely renewed and refreshed. It’s a little pricey but I definitely think it’s worth it.
3) Bag: BLOTTIE fringe from Steve Madden (this is currently available for pre-order as of October 11, 2014)
It doesn’t matter what season it is, you always have to have 1 (or several fun bags to add the perfect finishing touch to your outfit). The added aspect of the fringe adds a boho vibe to the outfit that will definitely make you stand out this fall season. My absolute FAVORITE part of the bag is the inner lining (which you can’t see in this picture). Why is the inner lining my favorite part you may ask, well…the pattern of the inner lining is zebra!!! I am completely obsessed with zebra print because it’s fun, and this is an easy way to have that element without having to commit to a wild pattern.
2) Cardigans: Ribbed Knit Dolman Cardigan from Forever 21
I really love cardigans during the fall because it’s usually cool enough to throw on a cardigan in the evening or just for a fun touch to an outfit. I really love this cardigan because it’s gray (which is going to be HUGE this fall…but don’t worry it comes in more colors), and it has a cool lace like underlining that extends past the length of the cardigan. I think that the underlining gives the piece a very famine touch that will instantly dress up any outfit (perfect for those days when you just don’t feel like making an effort…yes we’re all familiar with those types of days).
Shoes: Fold-Over Bootie from the Bethany Mota collection at Aéropostale
Finally we get to one of the most important items to have in your closet…a really cute boot! I love this boot because it’s cute, it has a fun high heel for all of you that don’t trip over your own feet (unfortunately I am not one of those people who always has the whole coordination thing figured out), and it has a fur lining on the inside (I’m pretty sure about this but I haven’t gotten a chance to look at the product in person). I love that this boot is just so incredibly cute, and the perfect girly touch to any outfit. This is also a boot that you could use for work (dependent of course on where you work) or school.
