Monday Memos: 2015 Summer Lookbook

Hello people of the internet!!! In honor of the beginning of everyone’s favorite season (summer!), I thought that it would be fun to discuss our ‘2015 Summer Lookbook’. This time around we have 3 looks, with various expensive and inexpensive pieces that you can use throughout the season. No matter what your style is, or what you may be doing this summer, there should definitely be some pieces here that you can utilize. Before we start let’s hear a quick word from Olaf

I know that was cheesy, but I had to do it. Ready to move on to the lookbook? Ok, let’s go!

Boho:
Boho Kendall & Kylie Fringe Tank Pac SunWhite Fringe Tank from ‘The Kendall & Kylie Collection’ at ‘Pac Sun’:
This is a really cute top that not only has a cool design that will make your top stand out, but also takes the classic crop top in an interesting direction by adding long fringe. This is a really cool piece that you can use with various outfits all summer long!
Pink High Waisted Destroyed Denim Shorts from Wet Seal:Boho High Waisted Destroyed Denim Shorts Wet Seal
What I really liked about these shorts is that their pink hue is a perfect summer color, and the distressed design makes them perfect to create a boho or edgy look. These shorts are a fun change from the classic “blue jean” look, so it’s an easy way to switch up your look a little.
Boho Daisy Aviator Sunglasses AeropostaleDaisy Aviator Sunglasses from Aeropostale:
I thought that these Aviators were the perfect accessory to add because they give the whole look a more chilled 70s vibe, and the daisies are a cool touch. Also, these glasses are inexpensive so if you wear them to a concert or festival, you wouldn’t have to worry if they get lost or broken.
Lace Up Peep Toe Booties from Forever 21:Boho Lace Up Peep Toe Booties Forever 21
I feel like these boots are definitely a bit of an unusual choice, but I thought that they gave the outfit a very cool vibe. Also this is another piece that you can use with multiple looks so it’s a win for sure.
Dressy:
Dressy Lace Circle Dress from H & MDressy Lace Circle Dress from H & M:
I’m so in love with this dress y’all, I just can’t! It’s the perfect length for just about any occasion, and it’s also very forgiving (because you know some times we need the help). I also thought that the lace gives the dress a very summer feel, but it can also be transitioned to fall, winter, and spring so you’ll get your money’s worth out of this piece.
Dressy Look Lace Up Gladiator Wedge Sandals from Forever 21:Dressy Look Lace Up Gladiator Wedge Sandals Forever 21
Right now EVERYONE is lovin Gladiator sandals and we can’t blame them! These shoes will definitely dress down this outfit a bit, and also give your feet a well deserved break. You can always replace these shoes with flats or heels if you need to for a certain occasion, but these sandals will definitely be your go to shoes this season.
Dressy Look COACH CORNER ZIP WRISTLET IN PRINTED CROSSGRAIN LEATHER from MacysCoach Corner Zip Wristlet in Printed Crossgrain Leather from Macy’s:
This is such a cool wristlet y’all! I just can’t get over how much I completely love this thing. Honestly we all know Coach is expensive and not something that most of us fill our closets with, but if you’re going to invest in a Coach accessory, I think that this is a pretty good way to go. If interested, you can pop over to this page to check out a few offers. If possible, you can use them to buy this wristlet. It is cool because you can fit your important cards, your money, put your phone in your pocket and your good to go. I loved the colors on this piece, which is why impaired it with this dress, but honestly you could pair it with any.
Gold Rhinestone with Fringe Statement Necklace from Icings:Dressy Look Taryn Gold with Rhinestone Square and Fringe Statement Necklace from Icing
This is a really pretty, inexpensive necklace that you can honestly reuse over and over all year. The best part is that it’s perfect for a more dressy outfit, small enough to dress up a casual outfit, and you also get a fun, summer feel from the piece with the fringe. I also saw a beautiful name necklace recently and I’m very tempted to buy it. Pretty much any gold necklace will look great with a summer outfit.
Casual:
Casual Look Cancelled Dolphin Hem Graphic Tee Aeropostale from AeropostalePink Graphic Tee from ‘The Bethany Mota Collection’ at Aeropostale:
Now you know we all have those days when we just don’t wanna try (some of us have those days more than others), but just because we’re going casual, doesn’t mean we need to sacrifice looking cute. This t-shirt looks super comfy, and shorts with funny sayings always have a place in my heart (Right? Right!).
RVCA Lower Deck Soft Shorts from Pac Sun:
Now another trend that everyone is loving is soft shorts (if we can just get everyone on a sweatpants & flip-flops trend life would be perfect…one day people of the internet, it will be back). These shorts are honestly one of my fav trends because the shorts feel like wearing pajamas but are socially acceptable (WIN!!!). Besides being incredibly comfy, these particular shorts also have a cool pattern that you can match with a variety of tops.
Casual Look Converse All Star Ox from FootlockerConverse All Star Ox from Footlocker:
If we’re taking comfort, you don’t need to look any further than converse. These shoes have found a place in our hearts for sooo many years, and honestly we’ll always love them. I thought these were cool because they have an interesting metallic shine that just adds a little extra flair to the outfit.
Studded Floppy Hat from Charlotte Russe:Casual Look Studded Floppy Hat
Now if we’re really having a casual day then the hair might not exactly be runway ready, so you can either do a bun, a ponytail, or a fun hat. Once summer hits floppy hats are A MUST and I thought that this studded one was particularly awesome because…well…it’s studded and studded stuff automatically looks cooler (oh you know it’s true).

YouTube Wednesday: 2014 YouTube Rewind

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to discuss the 2014 YouTube Rewind (here’s the link for y’all YouTube Rewind: Turn Down for 2014)! Now if you don’t know, every year YouTube releases a cool video where they highlight the biggest YouTube songs, events, videos, etc. of the year, and the video has numerous cameos from your fav YouTube stars. These videos honestly amaze me more and more every year, because of the creativity, hard work, and awesomeness that goes into all of these videos. So please read keep reading to find out why I know that y’all will love this video! Ready? Let’s go!

The video includes YouTube stars such as: Bethany Mota, Amanda Steele (MakeupbyMandy24), AmazingPhil, Brittani Louise Taylor, Connor Franta, Epic Rap Battles, Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig, and so many more! There were also SO many popular songs featured such as: ‘Turn Down For What’ by DJ Snake & Lil Jon (link here: DJ Snake, Lil Jon – Turn Down for What ), ‘Fancy’ by Iggy Azalea (link here: Iggy Azalea – Fancy (Explicit) ft. Charli XCX – YouTube), #SELFIE’ by The Chainsmokers, (here’s a link: #SELFIE (Official Music Video) – The Chainsmokers) ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams (link: Pharrell Williams – Happy (Official Music Video), ‘All About That Bass’ by Meghan Trainor (here’s a link: Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass – YouTube), and lots of our other favs from 2014. We also got to see recreations of some of this year’s most popular viral videos and events such as: the ‘First Kiss’ Video which was uploaded by Tatia Pllieva (I got a link for ya: FIRST KISS), the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (which was uploaded by basically everyone), and lots of other really awesome videos. What I loved most about this rewind video, is that it had really cool transitions with the music and the different scenes, and that it felt like a really epic music video, not just a mix of various video clips. There was also another really cool segment where different YouTubers performed ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen, while they stood in front of a cool snowy mountain background and drew with snow in the air. I honestly LOVED the special effects in this scene, because it really felt like a scene from a movie, it was just so cool. I also thought that the ending was perfect (which was a “how it should of ended’ segment, because it left the vide on a hilarious ending note. Just perfect! It was so cool to see a visual yearbook of YouTube and pop culture events, because you realize how much can happen and change in a year.

So what did y’all think of the 2014 YouTube Rewind? Personally this one was so good that it made me excited for the next year’s video. I can’t wait to see what AMAZING music and YouTube acts will be featured! What do you think next year’s video is going to be like? The one thing we can predict is that if 2014 was so big and impactful, 2015 is going to be even crazier.

Monday Memos: Top 5 Halloween Candy…gotta love a holiday that is so sweet!

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to talk about one of our favorite events of the year…Halloween! And what makes Halloween so amazing you ask? Well besides the costumes, cool movies on TV, and haunted houses. The main thing that makes Halloween so much fun can be summed up in two words HALLOWEEN CANDY (downside=accidentally eating a whole variety candy value pack whilst the kids aren’t watching). Now even though you can have candy any time, for some reason Halloween candy always tastes just a little better (you know it does…don’t pretend you don’t steal, I mean “save” a few bags of candy that suddenly are “misplaced” the next day. So since candy is an awesome and very important part of our childhood (and possibly even longer if you happen to be that teen or 20 something year old who plans to go in your Olaf costume, #nojudgement), I thought that we could rank our Top 5 favorite Halloween candy. Please let me know if I miss any of YOUR favs. So, let the sugar rush begin!

5) Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

You have to love a candy that combines chocolate and peanut butter. Never since jelly has peanut butter found such a perfect companion in an edible form. Another great thing about this candy is they’re small so you can easily take them with you on the go, and snack on them during your 2nd and 3rd nap during math class (remember you gotta keep your strength up between naps).

4) M&M’s

Now we move on to a candy that has produced some of our fav commercials. I mean who doesn’t love those cute little talking M&M’s! You have the grumpy red one, the sweet yellow one, and the sassy green one. You gotta love a candy that has personality! Also again this candy also has the benefit of being portable so you will never be hangry again (sometimes coffee just isn’t enough). Anddd M&M’s are educational, for example: if you have 3 bags of M&M’s and you eat 2 then you now have 1 bag of M&M’s…see you do use math in real life, now reward yourself with a bag of M&M’s, internet high five!

3) Halloween Peeps:

This is the first year I’ve ever seen Peeps the shape of ghosts and other Halloween characters, and all I have to say about this is…IT’S ABOUT TIME!!!! I mean you get the deliciousness of peeps, with the fun of Halloween. Ok let’s think about this for a second. This candy is a marshmallow covered in sugar…sounds like a recipe for happiness to me. And the bonus is in a few months Easter is back, which means…MORE PEEPS! You gotta love your peeps.

2) Candy Corn

Now y’all knew that we had to include this one on our list because honestly Halloween without candy corn is like Thanksgiving without the Turkey, Christmas without Santa, Friday without Rebecca Black (yes I know that joke was corny but you loved it). And again this candy has the word ‘corn’ in it, so that must mean that it’s part vegetable and thus healthy for you, so you would actually be hurting yourself by not eating it. Yup, that argument might just work.

And Now!!!!!!!!!

1) Snickers:

Yes we have to crown this candy as our #slayqueen of the candy. I mean you have a beautiful marriage of chocolate, caramel, and you can argue that the peanuts in it make it healthy so that means you can have double the serving right? Right! Another great thing about this candy is it is the perfect companion for when you sit alone in the corner scared out of your mind because you watched a Pretty Little Liars marathon at 2:00 in the morning with the lights turned off. You gotta love that comfort food.

Snickers

Monday Memos: 2014 Oscars Recap!!!!

Ok, last night (March 2, 2014) the Oscars aired, and it was a night full of fun, jokes, exciting musical performances, and A LOT of amazing film stars. Due to the amazing films that were nominated, the musical performances that were booked, and the humor and wit that always follows Ellen Degeneres (the host this year), it was easy to predict that the show would be amazing! So if you missed the show last night, or just want to review all of the amazing moments, then keep reading! Ready? Let’s get started!

Host:
This year’s Oscars were hosted by actress/comedian/talk show host Ellen Degeneres. Ellen emerged on stage in a really cool black velvet suit, which instantly made her stand out from the rest of the celebrities.  She began her opening monologue by stated that “it’s been a tough time for us [in California]…it’s been raining…thank you for your prayers”. She then spoke about how movies inspire important things like, “love, family, and friends…and if you don’t have these things, then you end up in this [show] business”. Ellen then compared the Oscars to the film the ‘Hunger Games’ by stating that, “everyone’s hungry…and Jennifer Lawrence wins everything”.  She then made fun of Jennifer Lawrence’s infamous falls at the Oscars last year and this year and stated, “If Jennifer Lawrence wins again, we will bring her hers [award]…” Ellen certainly brought numerous other hilariously memorable moments throughout the night. One such moment was Ellen’s now famous group selfie with numerous stars such as: Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, Channing Tatum, among others. This picture instantly went viral, and actually shut down the social networking site Twitter for several minutes, making it a true historical event. At point Ellen continued the selfie mania by taking a photo of her reaction to how large the crowd was, and then jokingly placing emphasis on stating that she would be tagging the photo, “#selfie, #blessed”. At one point in the show, Ellen came out dressed in an all white suit, then looked at herself and stated, “oh new clothes!”. Another one of Ellen’s funniest moments came when she appeared on stage as ‘Glinda the Good Witch’, after P!nk’s rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow” as part of the ‘Wizard of Oz’ tribute. Upon “realizing” that she “missed” the tribute, Ellen said, “Guys that’s not cool!”, “you always had the power…oh never mind…”. However, the finniest moment of the night had to be when Ellen brought a pizza delivery man on stage, and stared handing our pizza to numerous celebrities (honestly what could be better than a pizza party with Ellen!…oh by the way Ellen I’m still waiting for my piece of pizza…just so you know… Ellen later took Pharrell Williams’ infamous brown hat, and went around to the various celebrities present and asked for a tip, she even “scolded” Brad Pitt for not donating “enough”. Due to all of these hilarious moments, and her natural charisma and lightheartedness, Ellen certainly further proved that she is truly a hilarious comedian, and a great entertainer. As always she didn’t  disappoint, and proved that this is the “age of Ellen Degeneres”.  I look forward to the next show Ellen hosts, because you know that if Ellen leads, then hilarity will follow.

Winners:

*This is only a partial list of the winners, for a full list please visit Oscars.com

Best Picture: 12 Years a Slave

Even though it was not my pick, I can certainly see why ’12 Years a Slave’ took home this coveted award. The acting in the film was superb (especially the performances of lead actors Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong’o). The actors were really able to translate the emotional depth of the script to the screen, and thus made the audience feel the correct emotions at precisely the right time. The ability to have great dramatic timing is not an easy task to perform however, the actors in this film were able to do this with ease. This film also had an amazing script, which contained thought provoking themes, and dialogue such as “I don’t wanna survive, I want to live”. The dialogue had audiences clinging to the film’s every word, and helped the film strengthen its grip on all those watching it. I also loved the meticulous detail that the costume department and other crew members obviously used in order to make every aspect of this film perfect and this further invoking our attention.

Actor in a Leading Role: Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club)

Now this was truly a very difficult category to judge because all of these actors gave superb performances in their respective roles however, I do see why Matthew won this category. Matthew has the uncanny ability to perfectly embody any character he is given, and use his performance to transport an audience to where they need to be. His performance in Dallas Buyers Club was certainly no exception. In this film Matthew was able to make us feel every moment that his character Ron faced when he was diagnosed with AIDS. The fact this film is inspired by actual people and events (it has been noted that some characters and situations have been changed and/or created in the film), adds a great amount of credit to Matthew’s performance because it is very difficult to accurately translate a person’s life in screen (and selfishly I did want Matthew to win for ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ because he’s from Texas, and I’m from Texas, so I have to root for my fellow Texans!).

Actress in a Leading Role: Cate Blanchett (Blue Jasmine)

With stellar performances in films such as: ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, ‘The Aviator’, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, etc. etc., it should come as no surprise that Cate had a great shot at winning this award. The competition for this category was stiff due to the appearances of veteran A-List actresses such as: Amy Adams, Sandra Bullock, and of course Meryl Streep (yeah “the” Meryl Streep). But despite the other amazing actresses in this category, Cate Blanchett’s performance in ‘Blue Jasmine’ was too amazing to ignore. Cate’s portrayal of a woman who goes from being extremely wealthy to losing it all ( including her mind) is perhaps some of Cate’s finest work. She is able to portray the process of a woman’s unraveling , without making it seem over dramatized or unnatural.

Actor in a Supporting Role: Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club)

This was another extremely tough category to participate in, but Jared Leto was able to rise above the rest. Although he has given several other good performances in various other films, I really think that Jared Leto was breathtakingly good in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’. He was not only believable as the unique character of Rayon ( a young HIV Positive transgender woman who Matthew McConaughey’s character meets during one of his hospital stays, and later goes into business with when he begins the Dallas Buyers Club). In the role, Jared is able to accurately portray all of Rayon’s emotional highs and lows. Through this performance, Jared further cemented his place as a phenomenal musician and actor. Although he has said that he will focus on his band’s music ( 30 seconds to Mars), I think that Jared has proven that he has the talent to portray any character, and we will certainly see him in another Oscar caliber role soon.

Best Animated Feature Film: Frozen

Although there were many deserving films in this category ( the minions in Despicable Me are soooo cute!) you just can’t beat a Disney animated movie. With talented actors such as: Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, etc. etc. there was no way for this film to fail. Another thing that this movie had in its’ favor was a heartwarming story, amazing music (we’ll talk about ‘Let it Go’ later, but another favorite I mine was ‘In Summer’ performed but Josh Gad, which was a hilarious and adorable song that told the story of a snowman’s desire to experience summertime), and unforgettable moments and characters. These elements are what have made several other Disney films such as: ‘The Lion King’, ‘The Little Mermaid’ , ‘Mulan’, ‘Snow White’, and various other films classics among children and adults. Since its release, ‘Frozen’ has received praise from critics and has also grossed over $1 billion ( That’s unbelievably impressive isn’t it!?!). I definitely think that this film will enter the elite club of Disney classics, and I will definitely be first in line when they make ‘Frozen’ 2 ( hint hint Disney ).

Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave)

Once again we face a category that had many amazing contestants however, I have to say that I do agree that Lupita’s performance in ’12 Years a Slave’ was fantastic. I recently did some research on the actress, and I was baffled to learn that ’12 Years a Slave’ was Lupita’s first major film! Her delivery of the emotionally charged script was riveting, and left the audience completely entranced by the story. Obviously this was an amazing film for to help Lupita get her name out there, and I think that we will certainly see more amazing films from this talented new star. I can’t wait to see where her career takes her, and how many unforgettable moments and characters she will create.

Best Original Song: ‘Let it Go’ (from Frozen)

Frozen strikes again!!! I was so excited that ‘Let it Go’ won for two reasons: 1) It is an amazing and inspiring  song  about shedding what others think and expect of you, and living your own life ( this is a classic Disney theme, and one of the things they makes Disney music so epic!), 2) Idina Menzel performs the song!!! Now many people may recognize her from the hit Fox show ‘Glee’ however, my fellow theater nerds will recognize Idina from her various roles on Broadway (probably the most famous is ‘Wicked’, but seriously this woman is like the queen of Broadway…ok I’ll stop fangirling now…wait…ok I’m done now for real). With the combination of an amazing vocalist  like Idina Menzel performing the song, and the talented writers at Disney, there was no way for ‘Let it Go’ to lose! This and all of the other music in Frozen definitely left me wishing for a sequel ( and Disney has now announced that ‘Frozen’ will be adapted into a Broadway musical…so maybe Idina will reprise her role??? Probably not but we can dream, can’t we?!).

Performances:

Pharrell Williams:

First up was Pharrell with his track ‘Happy’ from the animated film ‘Despicable Me 2’. It was obvious that he used the fun loving, carefree tone of the song to inspire his performance. When the performance began, he appeared on stage in jeans, red sneakers, a T-shirt, track jacket, and a black hat reminiscent of his infamous Grammy hat. As the song progressed, back-up dancers appeared and danced around joyfully. Pharrell then walked off stage and went to the front row, where he preceded to dance with several of the actresses that were seated there. All of the backup dancers were dressed in fun, everyday clothing. The back screen had the lyrics of the song, and at one point of the song, a dance circle was formed and several backup dancers did break dancing in the middle. The song then ended with a back screen full of minions (small, yellow creatures that are characters in the film). The overall feel of the performance was fun, and it left you “happy”.

Karen O:

Karen O (most widely known as the lead vocalist of the rock band the ‘Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ ), performed the song ‘Moon Song’ (from the film ‘Her’), with Ezra Koenig ( guitarist for the band ‘Vampire Weekend’). The execution of the performance was very simple (which perfectly complemented the acoustic elements of the song). The staging consisted of a single spotlight on Karen and Ezra, with a bright moon in the background. Karen had on a beautiful, sparkly red dress, and sat on a set of steps with Ezra. The overall presentation of the performance was very serene and was dominated by Karen’s strikingly unique vocals.

U2:

Next up was the iconic rock band U2, who performed their song ’Ordinary Love’ from the film ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’. As always, U2 was phenomenal, and truly had the crowd mesmerized from their talent. This band has had numerous hits that have become rock staples , so it is no surprise that their experience and overall phenomenal charisma was able to keep the audience engaged . They certainly showed through this performance like wine, this band only gets better with time.

Wizard of Oz Tribute:

Next up was P!nk who performed ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ as part of the show’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ tribute. The back screen played scenes from the ‘Wizard of Oz’ throughout the performance, and the lights and staging were kept very simple in order to place emphasis on P!nk’s performance. P!nk looked every bit the classic Hollywood star, with a lovely sparkly red dress, and perfectly placed hair and makeup (she is a Covergirl, so you know she’s going to look awesome!). Her performance was simply breathtaking, and showed that P!nk is truly one of the most vocally gifted artists in music today. Her technique was flawless, and her execution appeared effortless. She was also able to translate the emotional depth that the lyrics of the song contain, and left the audience feeling every emotion that the lyrics depict (I honestly had to work hard at not crying…ok maybe I cried a little, but don’t tell anyone ok ). At the end of her performance she received a well earned standing ovation.

Bette Meddler:

When Bette Meddler performed, all hope of not crying was eliminated. Bette came on stage (after the Oscars honored those in the film industry who passed away this past year), and performed her iconic track ‘Wind Beneath my Wings’. Bette did a phenomenal job performing this moving track, and truly entranced her audience. Her performance ended with a standing ovation, and further cemented that fact that she is truly a star vocalist and entertainer that is able to continue to move a crowd to her bidding even after all these years.

Idina Menzel:
Last but most certainly not least, Actress/Vocalist Idina Menzel performed ‘Let it Go’, the winner of the Oscar for ‘Best Original Song’. Idina wore a gorgeous dress, and the stage had blue and silver sparkly chains. When the chorus of the song kicked in the stage was lit up with gorgeous blue lights that perfectly complemented the rest of the staging. As always Idina’s vocals were nothing short of spectacular, and she was truly able to express the deep emotions that the award-winning song conveys through its lyrical content. She left the audience stunned and amazed, and definitely proved why she has always been considered one of Broadways’ brightest stars. She also received a standing ovation at the end of her performance, further adding acclaim to a golden night for ‘Frozen’.

Monday Memos: Golden Globes 2014 Recap

Hello people of the internet, on today’s ‘Monday Memos’, we are going to discuss what happened on the ‘Golden Globes’ this past Sunday (January 12, 2014). This show kicks off award season, and honors excellence in TV, mini-series, and TV movies. So are y’all ready!?! Well then let’s begin!

Opening Monologue: The hilarious comedy duo of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey once again hosted the show this year, and the two definitely made the show fun to watch.  The two started their monologue by making fun of their own hosting skills with their comment that “in Hollywood, if something kind of works, then they keep doing it until you get sick of it”. They then began making fun of a lot of the celebrities that were in attendance such as: Bradley Cooper, Meryl Streep, Matt Damon (who they also made fun of later, when actress Melissa McCarthy presented an award, but supposedly got amnesia backstage, and now believed that she was Matt Damon), and numerous others. Amy and Tina also had a running joke with veteran actress  Julia Louise-Dreyfus (who at first pretended to be “too good” to sit in the TV section of the auditorium due to Julia’s first Golden Globe film  nomination, and then she later sat in the TV section, and Tina and Amy made fun of her). Finally, Tina and Amy made fun of George Clooney by saying that he “would rather float away in space, then spend time with a woman his age” (in reference to the hit film ‘Gravity’ that George did with Sandra Bullock).

All in all, I believe that the Golden Globes were in a huge success in terms of who won, and which projects came out on top. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made an unstoppable comedic duo, and I can certainly see them continuing this for many years to come. The show truly displayed those who’s talent, dedication, and hard work soared this year, and it left me excited for next year. I believe that this was an excellent and fun start to the award season!
