Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to talk about an awesome YouTuber who you just gotta check out! If you love cartoons (and I mean who doesn’t), then you’re gonna become addicted to Brizzy Voices’ amazing impressions. Brizzy (who’s real name is Anna Brisbin according to IMDB) is an extremely skilled voice actress who seems to be able to mimic the voice of just about any character you can think of. I thought that this would be a really fun YouTuber to discuss because Brizzy is not only insanely talented, but also takes the time to show her fun, bubbly personality through her videos. So if you’re already a fan of Brizzy then you know what’s coming, and if you’ve never heard of her then prepare to be amazed. Ready? Let’s go!
The first video that we’re going to talk about is Brizzy’s ‘Voice ALL the original Pokémon!!’ video, which was uploaded on June 26th, 2012 (you can check out the video below). Now if you’ve ever seen Pokémon, then you know that there are a wide variety of voices on the show, that are all very unique. The fact that nearly every 150 voices will really leave you in awe (side note remember when there were only 150 Pokémon instead of 500 thousand billion? Old school stuff right there). I think that this was an equally awesome and courageous video to upload because if you do it right (which Brizzy did) then you will gain A LOT of fans and positive exposure, but if it comes out wrong then you’ll get endlessly trolled on the Internet. This is a video you’ll gonna want to replay over and over. The next video that we’re going to discuss is ‘Disney Princess Impressions’ video, which was uploaded on September 20th, 2012. This is another video that takes a large group of characters with really distinct voices and puts them together in a very cool, very well done video. I liked that Brizzy not only showed that she can imitate lines of dialog from these movies, but also some lines from the popular songs. She is able to match every line very well, and if you close your eyes while listening, you feel like you’re listening to the original actress. I give this video 5 Mickeys (because you know the whole Disney thing….yeah).
Ok this next video is going to be a big kick in the nostalgia, so prepare. We’re going to talk about Brizzy’s ‘Tara Strong Tribute Impressions’ video, which was as uploaded on February 20th, 2015. Confused? Ok, well you may or may not exactly know who Tara Strong is, but I GUAREENTEE that if you were a kid (or a kid at heart) in the 90s and well even now, then you know Tara Strong’s work. With a wide variety of characters such as: Dill Pickles from the ‘Rugrats’, Bubbles from ‘The Powerpuff Girls’, Melody from ‘The Little Mermaid 2’, Timmy Turner & Baby Poof from ‘The Fairly Odd Parents’, Raven from ‘Teen Titans’, and well so many that we would need a few more posts in order to go through them all. Needless to say Tara Strong is a voice acting legend, and it was so cool to see Brizzy do such an amazing tribute to her. As always the voices were perfectly executed, and just further shows how insanely talented Brizzy is. Ok, the final video that we’re going to talk about is Brizzy’s ‘Cartoon Mom Impressions’ video, which was uploaded on May 8th, 2015 (which you can check out below). Although all of Brizzy’s videos are awesome, this is definitely one of her top videos, because mom voices aren’t the easiest for most people to do. Once you really get into the whole video, you see just how difficult and diverse our favorite TV mom voices are, because of the various pitches, accents, and even word phrasing that their voices have. However, Brizzy doesn’t let us down, and continues to prove that not only will she continue to release that we love, but she will also work very meticulously to make videos that are more and more awesome. Gotta love YouTubers who continue to push their boundaries.

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ installment, we will discuss a type of artist that we have never discussed before. Today I have the pleasure of introducing y’all to Anthony Ingruber, impressionist extraordinaire (everybody clap…keep clapping this guy is AMAZING)!!! I was first introduced to this amazing thespian when he followed me on Twitter, and I have to say that I am so excited that he did! This insanely talented guy is able to perfectly impersonate some of our favorite characters such as: Leonardo DiCaprio in ‘The Aviator’, Harrison Ford as Hans Solo in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash in ‘Walk the Line’, Heath Ledger as The Joker in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, and numerous others. Anthony’s vocals are not only amazingly accurate, but he is also able to use his superb acting chops to completely embody the character. I definitely see this guy becoming a box office A-lister, so you should become familiar with him now, before you see him on your local silver screen.
Anthony was born on February 5th, 1990. His family moved around a lot when he was growing up, and lived in The Philippines, Canada, Australia, the Republic of Cyprus (an island in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea), and New Zealand. Anthony gained an interest in performing impressions at a very young age, and later furthered cultivated his love of performing by studying film at the ‘Wellington Performing Arts Centre’ (which is in New Zealand) and received a diploma in Screen Acting. Anthony was also previously employed at the WETA Workshop (which is an Academy Award winning special effects company in New Zealand). In 2009, Anthony was given the opportunity to work in the production department on the Academy Award winning movie Avatar as a Ground Technician. According to Anthony’s IMDB (Internet Movie Database), he is also a “gifted artist and illustrator” and fluent in Dutch and conversational in French (so he can act, create art, do incredible impressions, and is trilingual…wow don’t you feel so untalented…yeah me too). Anthony has also had numerous acting roles in various TV series and films such as Sensing Murder (mystery show in the ID Channel), Karaoke High (comedy music show in New Zealand), Reminiscence( a short film), Last Minute (a short film), Avalon High ( an awesome Disney Channel Movie that you can watch on Netflix!!!), Halo: Faith ( a short film), Eyes Open Nevermore ( a short film), and In the Name of God ( a short film). Along with his impressive acting career (which is even more extensive than this, and can be viewed in its’ entirety on Anthony’s website AnthonyIngruber.com | Your Online Resource for Actor Anthony Ingruber), Anthony also regularly updates his YouTube channel (again, you MUST watch this).
Now there is A LOT to say about Anthony’s YouTube Channel, so let’s get started. My favorite impression that he has done is his impression of Leonardo DiCaprio in ‘The Aviator’, because it is so perfectly done. You can certainly tell that Anthony worked very meticulously with this impression in order to get the tone and timing down perfectly (here’s the video The Aviator- leonardo dicaprio impression – YouTube). Another impression that Anthony performsthat I really enjoy is his impression of Harrison Ford as Hans Solo in Star Wars (and here’s the video…prepare to be amazed!!! Harrison Ford Impression – YouTube). Not only does Anthony sound like EXACTLY like Harrison Ford, but he even performs similar facial expressions and movements. Not only does this video demonstrate Anthony’s limitless talent as an impressionist, but is also a testament to his immense talent as an actor. Another video that Anthony has made that left me in amazement was his impression of Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash in ‘Walk the Line’( walk the line – cash’s audition – YouTube). Not only is Anthony able to perfectly embody the complex character of Johnny Cash, but he is even able to sing like the famous country artist. This video further explains how limitless Anthony’s talent is, and leads me to conclude that this YouTube jewel will not stay a secret for much longer. The last video that I am going to discuss is Anthony’s impression of the late Heath Ledger as The Joker in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. Now, I believe that most people agree that Heath Ledger’s performance in this film is considered to be legendary, even the late iconic movie critic Roger Ebert stated in his July 2008 review of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that Heath’s performance in the film was “Key” to the film’s cinematic power. Personally, I believe that Anthony’s impression of one of Heath’s most dramatic scenes in the film echoes Heath’s talent, and will leave any viewer in awe. The Joker is certainly an interesting and complex character to play, and the way that Anthony is able to perfectly capture the pain, torment, and sarcasm of the character in a matter of a few minutes, is nothing short of amazing (check out the video, to get an idea of what I mean heath ledger’s joker – impression – YouTube.
I can definitely see a bright future for Anthony in film. I feel that his ability to perfectly change his vocal tone and accent according to his will is an invaluable commodity for an actor to have. This rare ability has made numerous comedies and actors into stars, and I truly believe that Anthony will be added to this list very soon. I highly suggest that everyone check out Anthony’s YouTube channel, and become familiar with the guy who will soon take over your local small and silver screen. The name Anthony Ingruber will definitely be inescapable in a few years, so if I were you, I would become familiar with him now.
