YouTube Wednesday: Dance Fitness with Jessica, the YouTube channel that you will love this holiday season

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’ we are going to discuss an AMAZING new channel that I know you’ll will love. With thedance fitness with jessica holiday season upon us the one thing on everyone’s mind is…food. Because of this, A LOT of people join gyms once the New Year hits, so I’m going to introduce y’all to a YouTube channel that will help you combat those holiday pound in a fun way. If you don’t like working out (or even if you do) then you HAVE to read on. Ready? Ok, let’s go!!!

The first video that we’ve going to talk about is Jessica’s workout video to Iggy Azalea’s hit song  ‘Fancy’ feat. Charli XCX, which was uploaded on June 25th, 2014. This is a really fun introductory video for this channel, because you get a small taste of the fun, heart pounding workouts that you’ll get on this channel. The moves in this workout are not hard to replicate, and are a great starting point for someone who wants to get into shape, but doesn’t like to workout. I mean who doesn’t love to dance right? Right! The next video that we’re going to talk about is Jessica’s workout video to Fifth Harmony feat Kid Ink’s high energy song ‘Worth It’, which was uploaded on May 15th, 2015 (you can check out the video below). This is another fun video that will definitely get you moving! In this video Jessica shows us a full body workout set to this song, that will have you replaying this video over and over. The best thing about the moves in this video is you can learn them and then add them to just about any upbeat song, and get a hard workout that’s a little different everytime. It’s definitely worth a look!

Next up we have Silento’s viral hit ‘Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)’, which was uploaded on June 30th, 2015 (you can check out the video below). Now this is a song that everyone has had on repeat, and a dance that we all love to do. In this video Jessica incorporates the moves from the song, in a high cardio impact routine. If you love Zumba and/or dance that’s set to modern music then you’ll really get into this video. Also, one of the best things about this (and all of the other videos on this channel), is that you get a tough, high energy workout in under 5 minutes, you gotta love that. The last video that we’re going to talk about is Jessica’s workout video set to Miranda Lambert’s song Somethin’ Bad feat. Carrie Underwood which was uploaded on October 22nd, 2015. This is a high energy dance video that has some really cool steps that will work you out, but aren’t too difficult to grasp. Whether you use these videos as a warm-up, or they are you whole workout, you will certainly have a fun time on this channel. I really wish I could’ve talked about all of the videos on this channel because their all amazing! So if you want to keep in shape during this season of food and fun, then definitely subscribe to this channel.

YouTube Wednesday…Tracy Campoli, your newest fav fitness BFF

tracy campoli

Hello people of the Internet!!! On today’s ‘YouTube Wednesday’, we are going to discuss a topic that everyone likes to run away from…exercise. With spring already here and summer quickly on its’ way, we all want to wear cute (and often short) clothes. So I thought that this would be a good time to introduce y’all too an awesome new fitness/lifestyle guru named Tracy Campoli, that you will owe all your cute #OOTD pics to. So are y’all ready? Then let’s go!

Ok, the first video that we’re going to talk about is Tracy’s ‘Arm workout for tight toned arms!’ video, which was uploaded on August 24th, 2010 (you can check out the video below). This is a really cool video that will definitely get you dress…I mean arm muscles working. One of the things I love most about this video is that the workout takes about 5 minutes to do, which is perfect for all of us who are on the go (or just don’t want to work out). Next up we’re going to talk about another video that I think y’all will absolutely love! We all know that most of us complain about our waists and thighs, so if this is one of your “issues”, then check out Tracy’s ‘How to have a tiny waist and smaller inner thighs’ video, which was uploaded on December 13th, 2011. This is another workout that you complete in about 5 minutes, and it will definitely make you feel like you did some work today (so you can enjoy your tub of ice cream guilt free…yay!). I mean seriously, you gotta love a workout that you can complete during commercial breaks (or in between YouTube videos).

Ok now we have Tracy’s ‘Dance Cardio’ video, which was uploaded on June 6th, 2013 (you can check out the video below). This video is a bit of a longer workout (14 minutes), but will get you up and moving. I think a lot of us hate the concept of running (or moving at all), but one thing that most people do like to do is dancing. This video is a fun way to get that Casio workout that we’re all suppose to get every day, without feeling like you’re working out. The last video that we’re going to talk about is ‘How to get past a weight loss plateau!’ video, which was uploaded on March 26th, 2015. Now I know that this isn’t a “workout video”, but I thought that this was an interesting video for us to talk about. A lot of people make a New Year’s resolution to lose weight (or we decide that now that spring/summer is back we need to fit in those cute shorts again), but most people have  a hard time reaching their goals. This is a cool video that will give you some (free) advice from an actual trainer to help you continue to work towards getting as healthy as you want.

Monday Memos: 2014 Winter Lookbook

Hello people of the internet!!! On today’s ‘Monday Memos’ we are going to discuss our ‘2014 Winter Lookbook’. With Christmas and New Years Eve on the way, I thought that this was the perfect opportunity to start thinking about what cute outfit you want to wear in all of your holiday selfies. Usually in the lookbooks, we show casual, girly, and edgy looks, but this time I thought it would be fun to switch things up and style trendy, grungy, and preppy looks. Remember that you can mix and match the various looks, add accessories, or make various other changes depending on your personal style, and what the weather is like where you are. So let’s jump into it!

Trendy Look:

Trendy Look Faux Fur Jacket H&M

  • White faux fur jacket from H&M:

I love this jacket for a trendy look, because it’s warm, comfortable, and instantly adds a touch of class to every outfit. This jacket is perfect for any holiday party, and isn’t real fur, so it’s animal friendly.

Open Back Maxi Dress Pac Sun Kendall and Kylie Collection Trendy Look

  •  Black open back maxi dress from the Kendall and Kylie Collection at Pac Sun:

Crop tops were HUGE this year, so this dress is an easy way to take the trend and transition it into the winter season. The slit in the front adds a flirty touch to the dress (perfect to lure in a midnight kiss from that special someone on New Year’s Eve).

Black and White colored blocked ankle strap pumps from Forever 21

  • Black and White colored blocked ankle strap pumps from Forever 21:

Adding the color block trend always gives an extra touch of coolness to any outfit, so these shoes are the perfect thing to easily color-coordinate your outfit without simply adding a solid colored shoe.

Rhinestone Bib Necklace Forever 21 Trendy Look

  • Rhinestone Bib Necklace from Forever 21:

I love this chunky necklace because it’s an easy way to add a cute accessory to your outfit without having to try to hard (gotta love easy fashion!).

madison evening belles ambrose Trendy Look

  • Madison Evening Belles Ambrose clutch from Kate Spade:

No trendy look would be complete without a cute clutch, and with the cool jewels on this one, you will feel like you’re carrying stars with you wherever you go.

Grunge Look:

Grungy Look Fishnet-Paneled Textured Top

  • Fishnet-Paneled Textured Top from Forever 21:

This top is perfect if you want to try out the crop top trend that was really popular all year. The partially concealed cutout in the front of the top really gives it a touch of edge, which makes it perfect for any event you have scheduled this holiday season.

  • Gypsy Warrior Super High Rise Lace Up Skinniest Jeans from Pac Sun:

I really liked these jeans because the lace up front is an interesting touch, and will definitely add a little more style to this or any other crop top you want to pair it with.

Grungy Look Vintage Wash Denim Jacket Wetseal

  • Vintage Wash Denim Jacket from Wet Seal:

Who doesn’t love a jean jacket right? This is the perfect piece to give the outfit a 90s grunge feel, and the best part is you can turn the jacket into a DIY project by drawing on it, adding cool embellishments, or ripping it.

Grungy Look STEVEMADDEN-BOOTIES_PAYYTON_BLACK-SUEDE

  • Payyton black suede booties from Steve Madden:

This boot has a smallish heel which is perfect for anyone who is hated by all heels (like me), and the fringe adds a very 1970s vintage edge to the look. This boot is also versatile enough to pair with a lot of other outfits so it’s a good staple piece to have.

Ecote Embellished Small Shoulder Bag Grungy Look

  • Ecote Embellished Small Shoulder Bag from Urban Outfitters:

This cross-body bag has a lot of very cool golden colored jewels all around it, that go along perfectly with the vintage grunge vibe this outfit has. It’s also small enough to carry with you anywhere, but big enough to hold all your essentials (I mean how could we survive without Instagram and Twitter?).

Whatever Statement Beanie Wet Seal

  • Statement beanie from Wet Seal:

This beanie adds a fun laid-back vibe to the outfit that is perfect if your hair isn’t cooperating.

Preppy Look:

Contrast Collar Plaid Shift Dress Forever 21 Preppy Look

  • Contrast Collar Plaid Shift Dress from Forever 21:

Flannels were really in during the fall, so this dress is an easy way to transition this style into the winter season.

Brocade Tights Aeropostale Bethany Mota Collection Preppy Look

  • Black Brocade Tights from the Bethany Mota Collection at Aéropostale:

These tights are the perfect way to keep you warm this winter season, and the light rose pattern they have on them add a really cute touch to the outfit.

Marled Tweed Bomber Jacket Forever 21 Preppy Look

  • White and Black Marled Tweed Bomber Jacket from Forever 21:

This jacket is the perfect way to warm up this look, and not compete with the pattern of the plaid. It’s another item that is versatile, so it can become a stale piece in your wardrobe.

  • Slipified Flat from Kenneth Cole Reaction:

I love this flat because it has the color locking of an oxford shoe, but the versatility of a flat (you gotta love items that you can use in various style combinations).
